That's the point. At no point has everything been closed. People are still going for weekly or daily grocery store runs. Infecting each other. Ordering food delivered from restaurants that could have been prepared by infected people. Medical services are still open and treating patients, getting infected themselves, and infecting each other and others.

If we're in total lockdown and having people in biohazard suits deliver food and bottled water to us, and having literal plague doctors going to people's houses to treat the sick you might have a point. But there's no amount of time that is going to pass where we have ZERO people with the infection. If even one person has it, it's going to spread exponentially. So fuck it lets not even try to mitigate the casualties

most people dont go to a restaraunt every few days let alone always the same one or two spots. Nor do they always order the same thing.

so how are they gonna remember the prices exactly?

I doubt my friend who has been a server at the same pub for like ten years could tel you exact prices for most of the menu.

You see $5.24 on a menu and it'll catch your eye for sure.

This is assuming you actually remember the prices of a thing and that they dont round it up (which they likely would cause thats just how businesses roll).

thats way too confusing. When I go to a place I want to know how much it costs. Not have a surprise at the end. Either change it on the menu or dont change it at all. Its not that complicated.
