| BakonBitz 06/29/20 2:39:24 AM #7 | They're all really great in varying degrees. Prime 1 is my favorite and probably the best one...it's like a 3D Super Metroid. Prime 2's pretty good, even better with motion aiming, though the environments kinda blend in more. Dark World is kinda annoying until you get the Dark Suit, which is fairly early on. Prime 3's still great but has more narrative focus, a little less exploration, and more action. It's basically almost as if it was trying to be a Halo game, essentially. Polished up and refined from the first game, the enemy choices and level design are much better and make stealth/combat sections really engaging with the options you're given. Exploration is taken up a notch and there's so much you could feasibly miss, in terms of goodies and world-building. Graphics are top-notch. I've been consistently stopping in various times to just take in the environment because it just looks incredible most of the time. Color choices are great too, and character/facial animations are better than ever. Story is...well it's subjective. I can see how some people would be mad about some of its direction (one guy saying he'd like it better if it was structured differently) but so far I'm liking it. Just slow-paced is all. Not much is happening in Seattle.
