Every sport is kind of baby mode compared to crash dummy football. No other sport pads up huge lumbering players so they can run at full speed into each other. Even rugby avoids those kinds of collisions due to its equipment (though it has its own set of injuries).

Well I dunno if scientific names are much better. Then you have the problem of just because it can't mate it's a different species. I mean, it looks exactly the same or pretty dang close, and it has all the same practical considerations (does it bite you, what can you feed it), etc.

T&B is one of the best "movies" ever made. I know it doesn't technically qualify but I mean, you get it on a DVD and it's about two hours long telling a single story so whatever.

Reflection was good too. Not as good but I liked a lot of things about it. It did some dumb stuff too, but I really liked the overall story and idea.

It was quite a shock when I finally got around to watching some of the anime, lol. I didn't hate it but the tone was just too... not what I was expecting.

Never understood the thrill with Megaman either. What was so great about those? I have the original one, also as a collectors item, and the collection for Playstation 2 (collection of the NES games). But all of the NES games seem like the same game over and over again.

Because they kind of are. They're kind of like level packs with new weapons and music. They're supposed to be. It's kind of the opposite philosophy of something like Mario, where every game is supposed to be a totally new experience (with exceptions).

Presumably, this is why they made a spinoff after a couple of the originals. The spinoffs tend to change stuff up a bit.

For another Mario comparison, the series is kind of like what if every major Mario game had multiple Lost Levels entries, with the main entries being Mega Man, Mega Man X, Mega Man Zero, Mega Man ZX, Mega Man Legends, Mega Man Battle Network and Mega Man Star Force.

I actually think old RPGs have aged a lot better than most genres.

Like, maybe SMB3 and Mega Man 2 have aged better than FF but try anything other than the very most popular games and see just how poorly the majority of NES games have aged.

Ironclad doesn't have any cheap passive abilities like Silent's poison or Defect's orbs. I think this is the main reason he was tough for me.

Aaaaaand, credits.

Those last two missions were cool. The Arsenal Bird having all the different weak points reminded me of that last mission from 5, except better because you have to hit it from funny angles. The UAVs weren't so tough once I learned the trick was to keep my distance. And there's that tunnel mission I'd been hoping for. Managed to get through it just with yaw, but also the super confined fight with the UAV at the end there was super neat.

Me gusta, I think I like this one more than 4, maybe more than Zero, but I'll need to replay Zero before I decide that for sure. I think 5 is still my favorite, but there's not a bad game among them--at least not those four. Anybody played AC Advance? Yuck.

I'll probably go back for S Ranks, unlockable difficulties, achievements, etc but I might play something else first.

it's 1:1 map with no time acceleration. So, have fun doing a whole lot of nothing. Even America/Europe truck sim knows to cheat in between cities. And the largest airports are locked behind paywalls if you don't want the auto generated version (Denver, Ohare, heathrow, San Francisco, Dubai, Frankfurt, and a few others) Want to fly between europe and america? enjoy looking at the same ocean for 5-6 hours.

I mean, commercial jets fly between some cities in minutes. Just don't try to go over the ocean and you're golden. I'm sure you'll be able to land at an airport or even just pause > quit and pick another airport on the other side of the world in the time it takes to load.
