The cost of their weddings varied a bit, but were all fairly expensive with around 100 guests at a minimum. Watching all of these weddings take place definitely didn't leave a strong impression on me. I've been with my girlfriend for 1.5 years now. She has stated on numerous occasions that she hates weddings and wouldn't ever want to have a big one. She has been in numerous weddings in the last year and she hates them. Her best friend got married in a courthouse and that was the only wedding my girlfriend liked. It seems beyond insane to me to spend a lot of money on a wedding. It is just a party. There is no real lasting value in that investment.
