Yeah. People are people. The LGBT community is not some hippy dippy hivemind. They are all individuals with individual thoughts and feelings. Some of those feelings aren't good. It doesn't matter if someone else is technically in one of their defined groups. Tribalism runs deep with most people. There are plenty of black people who hate Hispanic people even though they're both technically "people of color". It's no more or less logical than someone completely outside the group feeling that way.

I've been following this game since it was announced. It's always weird when it actually gets an update. I just hope it's actually polished and fun when it comes out. One of the most original game concepts I've seen.

If God were all powerful he could just plant the thought of the Truth in every single person's head. I don't think he would have to worry about people believing a "light show" they saw on Youtube.

The gameplay is pretty solid and the story goes to some bonkers places.

Anime is a sin but I'll indulge for some Cyberpunk.

CDPR is definitely a big part of it but the game defnitely seems to have its own legs to stand on. Everyone's a little antsy about how little they've shown over the years but it still looks to be an insanely deep RPG which everyone should be excited about.

It's pretty easy if you want to be super casual about it. I'd suggest going with your brother and his gf. It's way more fun with friends and if you're all new you can just dick around and ignore whatever rules and things you want to. Finding a group is a toss up. They might be super anal about stuff, not helpful to new players, or just fucking weirdos.

Out of all the rumors this is the one I actually want. I basically picture it as a squad based Arkham game.

A lot of people are dumb and just do what they're told without knowing why.

Meh. I've never been a fan of Tarantino but I consider Inglorious Bastards, Django Unchained, and Hateful Eight to be his "needless bloat" phase. His movies have always been 70% filler but these take it to the extreme. Haven't seen Hollywood yet but I assume this trend is still going.

I'll look into Apache. I've just been using a Google Doc and it doesn't seem to have a normal spell check and I constantly have to go back and fix little things like I's not auto capitalizing. It's got a few other annoyances too.

I wrote for the first time today in, like, a month. Got to the "3/4s Oh shit" point a while back and kind of dropped my story. Felt good to get another chapter out today. I've been watching the Sanderson lectures and they are extremely helpful.

The first one is pretty decent. It's fairly self contained around the tournament. The others fall pretty hard into the standard YA dystopian formula.
