I got a science degree so I wasn't exposed to any so called liberal brainwashing so I couldn't tell you if it's real. The closest thing I ever saw was a history professor who insisted that the Civil War was fought for the one and only reason of slavery, even giving a question on a test to sum up the reason for the conflict in one word. I don't know if that was supposed to be indoctrination but it was pretty bad teaching.

that's in my backlog. from all i've heard about it, it seems like a great game. but tbh i dunno if i would play it if you've never played other Infinity Engine games already, particularly Baldur's Gate.

This. If you've never played any kind of old skool CRPG I'd suggest starting with something like Divinity Original Sin and then going back to the classics. I've heard the old Infinity stuff can be painfully unintuitive.

This. The collective human conscious is apparently only capable of caring about one thing at a time. They will fucking die on that hill for a few weeks but, as soon as something else pops into the newsfeed, they forget all about it.

I think it tried to stuff way too much cyberpunk in at once and it just made it feel silly. The stacks were an interesting enough concept and if they had just built the world up from there with some added flair it would have been better. The flashbacks with OG Kovacs were better than the ongoing stuff. Joel Kinneman is a charisma vacuum.
