It really depends, sometimes script changes are so apparent that I'm like god damn what did they do?! Raikuro posted... "script changes" isn't always an excuse to automatically hate a localization though. Sometimes the original script is dull and tropey as fuck and needs to be punched up a bit, or sometimes has awkward puns that wouldn't translate in any natural way so would be better to just change it completely. Different=/=bad All of this. There are plenty of great dubs that match or sometimes even improve on the Japanese version, and there are plenty of bad dubs that either don't have the effort put into them or have bad casting/translation decisions. That's why I decide on a case-by-case basis which to watch. I also appreciate how dubs are more willing to give people of different nationalities the correct accents, and sometimes they turn out really good.
