the phrase "it's so bad it's good" almost never applies to video games because a bad game is usually not fun to play. this game is a mess but damn when they go lol fuck it lets turn this into DBZ i loved it

when i was a little kid i was really sick with like a fever thing and apparently i refused to eat any real food, all i wanted was fast food, so my parents ran to every place in town to get me food just to convince me to eat and i did this

funny cause even as a little kid i always liked healthy food, i never really like junk but i crave it when im not feeling well now. even though most would say its the opposite the sugars and salt and fat must give my system energy when im under the weather

I became extremely ill around feb 1. Fever just under 101, extreme fatigue like nothing I'd experienced before, chills, sweats the whole shebang. I was quite scared at the time, not of coronavirus as it didn't occur to me that it could be that, but of my health in general. I went to a dr who tested me for every infection/disease he could think of, and gave me a chest x-ray. Everything came back negative, all he said was he thought it was viral and asked if I had traveled to china, which I hadn't. I continued to experience the symptoms for a few more days, especially the fatigue. I slept maybe 20hrs a day for a few days.

Eventually it passed. I experienced digestive issues as well, which some say is uncommon for influenza but is in 50% of COVID cases. A family member of mine experienced the exact same symptoms along with a dry cough that lasted weeks. I live in Los Angeles and I'm fairly certain it was COVID exposure. I know others who experienced the same thing, and even though we're not confirmed cases it seems more than likely the very high "flu season" in LA and other parts of the country was early cases of COVID

SMW is the perfect video game imo. It's a game that if you've never played a video game before in your life you can pick up and play, and its a game that rewards experienced players for exploring, finding secrets, and completing the more difficult optional bonus games.

SMB3 was groundbreaking, but SMW perfected those concepts.

Ironically the only time I got into a conflict with some goons at the gym was at a planet fitness 10 years ago. I was waiting for a bench and they kept hogging them and then one of their buddies showed up and I saw him check in and they claimed he had "been waiting for it".

I did get them kicked off but it was annoying af, and agree with people who dont rerack or make loud grunting noises. Otherwise everyone is cool

i watched the fight, it was fantastic. And there is no controversy, anyone who knows anything about boxing knows his corner did the right thing. He couldn't defend himself and wasn't able to throw anything anymore. It was simply a matter of time before Deontay hit the mat for the last time. No point in risking permanent damage.

The corner did the right thing no debate about it. I appreciate Wilder wanting to save face and continuing with the warrior spirit vibe, but he simply got outclassed by Fury. Even though I wanna see AJ/Fury, I'd pay for the trilogy fight. Whatever it is about them Wilder-Fury just make incredibly exciting fights together.

yeah it was a big thing, i didn't learn till i was like in 4th grade. my parents kept trying to teach me but they kept trying to do that trick "i won't let go" and then let go. I kept telling them NOT to let go until i told them to, but they kept doing it thinking it would help me, and i remember crying and it being some sort of tragedy.

anyway i watched that episode of hey arnold where gerald deals with his fear of riding a bike, and i went outside and just taught myself on the spot. my parents came home and saw me outside biking around, its their favorite memory to this day. idk why learning to ride a bike was so important to them lol

I'm so sorry for your loss, and agree with everyone else keep the positive memories alive. Not the same as losing a father, but I lost my grandmother in December. I also just lost a dear family friend who was friends with my grandfather before my parents were born, and was like a grandfather to me, and my OTHER grandmother just found out she has cancer.

I say all of that is, Ive been reaching out to a lot of people recently. Friends etc Especially people I've held grudges against or just kinda dropped off on over the years. Not calling to ask for forgiveness or make it a drama, I keep the convo light but just let them know I care. Its amazing how so many people I thought didn't care about me really do. It's been incredibly freeing and it might help you with what youre going through, and it could be a great way to honor your dad.

I generally leave 20% almost always. Only one time I didn't tip, and the place I didn't tip at ended up going out of business a few weeks later and I was the only person in there when I ate. Wonder why? lmao

Also, one time when I still lived in NYC I was pretty drunk and got in a cab by myself, and I think the cabbie thought I was too fucked up to notice he was taking me on a joy ride. Initially when he turned the wrong direction I asked him why he didn't keep going straight and reiterated my destination, he ignored me. After another few mins it was clear cause he when drove too far uptown and passed another street he should have turned on, that he was messing with me.

I told the dude to fuck off and pull over and I told him I wasn't paying for the ride cause it's illegal for cabbies to do it. Sucks for him too cause he drove me almost all the way there. Just starting driving randomly to jack the fair up towards the end.

Yes this. I agree, and I guess should have clarified that i ascribe to the no movie on first date rule. You can't talk, she can't get to know your personality, vibe etc, so it leads to awkwardness and usually a failed date. Don't have to be a couple, but I wait till at least the 3rd date for a movie.

Anything else suggested or you like to do works. Amusement parks, museum exhibit, barcades, outdoorsy stuff, sporting events. Even concerts work cause even if its loud and you can't talk too much you still interact. Just think of something YOU'D have fun with and ask her to tag along.
