2, both for speeding

My first speeding ticket was when I had just started driving and I was speeding in a school zone.

My second one was last year when my dad was sick and dying. I was driving from Austin, TX to Pensacola, FL and got a speeding ticket in Houston, TX.

Is it just me, or does Fallon seem fake?

I can't help but feel he's not being genuine when he expresses his emotion with guests; it straight-up feels like I'm watching a customer service representative host a night show.

Yeah, that's a common complaint about Jimmy Fallon. He comes across as being very disingenuous all the time.

I've been letting the diet slip quite a bit in the past month or so because I've been going back and forth between San Antonio and Austin quite a bit and not working out as much... So I gained some weight back, but my muscle mass still went up. I now have 201 pounds of lean tissue, which is awesome.

Lean tissue mass changes over time:
1: 7/27/2019 - 185.5 pounds
2: 10/12/2019 - 193.5 pounds
3: 1/04/2020 - 201.3 pounds

I'm so much stronger than I've ever been at this point... Gotta get back on the diet and going to the gym 5 days per week, though... Today is day 1 of that

In a previous topic, he said that he gave his number to the new guy and told him to call with any questions. Yes, OP is way too nice.

Well, what I said was to call me if something major broke and he couldn't figure it out

What he did in actuality was call me for everything big and small before even thinking it through on his own... This resulted in a shitload of calls, lol...

Yeah, I probably shouldn't have answered the phone day 1, but... oh well

Lol OK. Unless they give you a 20% pay bump every 2-3 years, job hopping is still the best way to advance your title and salary in the IT world.

Yeah, but people at this company's network team have been with the company for 10 - 20 years, so I'm hoping I'll be able to stay at this one place and grow.

I hate changing jobs. And I'm finding out that I hate changing cities to change jobs even more, but... I had to leave my old job one way or another.
