I often wonder what kind of insecurities drive people to feel attacked by someone who simply disagreed with them.

Maybe they realize their argument doesn't hold the water they think they did, and rather than continue along the line of the original argument, they instead switch gears towards calling out a perceived "incivility", turtling behind that defense as if the lack of civility they received was the height of injustice.

I often wonder how privileged those people must be to think someone disagreeing with them on the internet constitutes an injustice.

Its interesting to note how JRPGs went from being this huge, big budget, cinematic games to being a bit of a footnote post PS2.

It's the very reason FF7R is going to be like three separate releases: the technology just got too big and it wasn't cost beneficial anymore to make giant modern games, at least for anyone but Square-Enix.

I will always say start with 0. It's the perfect blend of the juxtaposition of tone that the series has become famous for.

From there, you can decide how you want to experience the series. You're not *required* to play all of the games in the series to enjoy it. They're all very big games, and only if you absolutely fall in love with Y0 would I suggest progressing all the way through it. The series is still going and Yakuza 7 will likely be out around Q3 this year.
