BUT when Sultan claimed to have been redirected by you, that should've been a hint that he took an action. If you didn't expect last Scum to be redirectable, you should've been looking at Abacus. And when you realized Abacus was confirmed through a Doc Save as well, then you should've reevaluated the situation as a whole instead of giving up.

Plenty of observers have said what things that we have been thinking. There were some plays that were done poorly, Ben's role was a niche ridiculous role that punished Town for being good and didn't require anything more from him than hiding while his team was destroyed.

But hey, whatever, just a game. I had fun while I was alive, especially the part where I dunked so hard on Scare and Red, in addition to the early calls on Sceptile and Damion, that we as a community are officially renaming "heat-check" to "Han-check".

You wouldn't put the Wing Cap in with the basement levels since you need 10 stars for that, would you?

I consider Wing Cap outside of being divided along with the main levels, personally.

And yeah, as a casual player now... well, there's different ways to go about it. Going in door order, in the foyer, I would BOB, WF, JRB, CCM, then Bowser 1. But as a kid, playing casually, I probably hit Bowser 1 asap.

You need 12 stars to get BBH to appear, and only 8 stars to access Bowser 1. Ergo, while BBH is not directly tied to beating Bowser 1, it is sequentially after it according to requirements. So I always considered BBH to be part of the second tier of levels.

I'm enjoying TIE Fighter but it currently has the issue of requiring too much attention and also taking too long to fly across a map to the next group of enemies.

Best part about the game so far is when you're talking to the officer after a mission, and he smiles at you.

Those two levels can be a real pain if you fall though.

So can most? SM64 levels are designed vertically for the most part. Almost every single one features places where you can fall and have to backtrack.

Dany should've focused on King's Landing and ignored the White Walker threat.

Jon gets revealed to be the true blood heir who deserves the throne, but he fucks off because he says the White Walkers are the threat, and nobody follows him.

Dany vs Cersei
North vs White Walkers

Heartless Bran eventually says "okay guys, Winterfell is fallen, we need to leave" because the North falling was necessary to defeat the Night King or something, and Bran being inhuman has more room to play out.

This is my ranking based solely on how much I like the level while playing SM64 Rando.

(note: HMC has an entrance in it but is my least favorite for stars aside from that)

And Snowman's Land is just pretty boring.

WDW, TTM, and THI all have character in their own right. RR and TTC have tons of it.

That's why the only stage in basement that I don't really like is DDD, but in rando I love it so I guess I'd put JRB below it.

No? Other than the 2 types of weapons good against Guardians it never really matters what you use. I used everything I found and other than the magic weapons none of them were different enough for me to care at least. They dont all play exactly the same, but nothing ever really needs you to use a spear over a sword or to use an axe instead of a long sword or anything. You just shoot everything in the face/eye with an arrow because literally every enemy in the game has that as a weak point and then smash it with whatever weapons you have on you regardless of whatever they are.

It sounds like your gripes with the game are more on the combat system than the weapon breaking mechanic then, when the weapons breaking serve to extend combat, even if just by a minuscule amount per instance.

When they almost all shatter in 1 fight it hardly matters if your long sword swings slower or if you jab with a spear and have more range. Like yeah they arent all literally identical, but it also doesnt matter what weapon you ever use for 99% of the enemies in the game either.

So you say they don't feel different because they all break?

to be fair, i do understand age of ultron has its flaws.

* ultron himself sucks
* the bruce banner/black widow romance sucks (this is never fixed in the later movies, really)
* the direction they went in with hawkeye sucks

these flaws weren't enough to totally ruin the movie for me but if they are for other people, i get it.

i'm not sure why this movie gets so much flak for ultron being a bad villain, though... like, villains have never been the strong suit of the MCU.

There are plenty of movies where the villain is completely unimportant or forgettable, but Ultron is the worst case of the villain being actively bad.

Of course, I wouldn't call those 3 things the only flaws of the movie, but I've made my thoughts clear.

with regards to sm64 rando, that'll sometimes ask you to do some awkward slope jumps (and generally places stars) in places where you wouldn't be required to get to normally (i'm looking at you snowman's land)
doesn't quite seem like a fair comparison there imo

The issue isn't that it's asking me to get weird stars, the issue is that the game's controls and engine have artifacts that make movement awkward in a multitude of placements. For example...

This is a tough question to answer.

I've been playing a good amount of SM64 Rando lately, and while the game is still fun, I am mostly annoyed by control issues. Stuff like 'you landed on a slope on your stomach, so you're fucked' and being unable to work certain slopes at all.

The game is certainly still playable, but it feels so bad compared to sunshine in terms of how Mario controls that it's hard to say it hasn't aged negatively, though poorly might be taking it too far.

Sounds like, if you can get Germany taken care of, that Siam could be a friend for long enough for you to build up a good force again. Or just stop warring and focus science and production for awhile.

I feel like story-based puzzle games need to be considered their own thing separate from being lumped in with other visual novels. Something like Ace Attorney or Professor Layton is a different classification from Umineko.

Would you consider the Telltale games to be closer to Umineko than Ace Attorney?

I am now done with Season 5.

That hit hard.

I got teary at the end.

I was excited to see Bariss again but then everything that happened with them... big sad. GREAT line delivery though. "I think they suit me". That's a top tier moment of the series.

If Season 5 didn't have that stupid Droid arc, then it'd be undeniably one of the better seasons of a show ever. But jeez that brought things down a lot.

A book is a book. Just cause you jump from page 5 to page 87 doesn't change that. You're just choosing the direction the book goes in. You're not interacting with it non-stop like a game

I'm entertaining your question, but I don't feel that strongly one way or the other. The only thing I do feel strongly about is that VNs should not be in games contests ever.
