I can only assume he did not like how the adult leadership ran things. Though nationwide there are certain criteria that each unit must adhere to, each unit and the adults leadership involved have some leeway in how the unit functions. Some units the adults do the leading while some the youth do the leading with the adults acting as advisers. Some units focuses on camping and hiking, some focuses on teaching Scout skills at meetings but rarely going out, some might do too much fundraising to the dislike of the parents, etc. It can vary quite a bit from unit to unit and unfortunately can make or break the Scouting experience if one joins a "bad" unit.

Is this part of the overall scouts thing now? Because I thought they had changed the boy scouts to just be scouts or something to incorporate girls as well. Because if it did and then the whole thing ended, it's a little apropos.
The Boy Scouts of America consists of four organization, each with its own set of ranks and awards. The Scouts BSA (formerly Boy Scouts), Cub Scouts, Venture Crew, and Sea Scouts. There are other organizations but to my knowledge they're like sub groups within these four existing groups. It is the Scouts BSA (formerly Boy Scouts) and Cub Scouts groups that opened up to girls in the past 1-2ish years. The Venture Crew though has been co-ed since 1969ish.

What we're seeing in terms of bankruptcy is a result of all that went wrong before the attempt to appear better.
To my knowledge, membership has been on the decline for a while even before the BSA officially accepted homosexual Scouts and girls. To my knowledge, the BSA officially accepting homosexual Scouts was kinda based on which sponsors we would keep/lose and I don't doubt opening up to girls was a way to deal with the declining membership, especially after the Mormon/LDS church left the BSA. I was told the Mormons/LDS Scouts consisted roughly of 18% of Scouts nationwide.

I STILL wouldn't buy a new car with a 60 month loan at 0% interest because even without paying out extra money, the car depreciates in value so fast at first it's like throwing away money. You can literally buy cars that are a few years old and have less then 30k miles on them that will work just as well, and save yourself 10k+.
Aye. At the time I think I simply wanted a more modernized car and new after having driven a 2005 Subaru WRX prior. Now that my Outback is a bit beat up from all the driving and camping trips I have gone on, I'll be more than content getting a used 2010+ car as a commuter for several grand than paying 35k+ for something new. I do not regret getting the new Outback but I will probably not get another Outback, new or used, until I have driven this 2017 model into the ground.

But if there is no friction and no desire to live alone, why spend the extra several hundreds to thousands of dollars per month on something that one will never make a return on.

That being said, I'd admit because I have this safety net with living with my mother it can and probably have made me soft. We oughta always try and better ourselves so we can get that promotion we want or a better paying career but the pressure on me to do this is definitely lower than what others are probably dealing with.

Both? Do anyone bury their ashes or typically keep em in urns/scatter them at sea? I might actually opt to not have a plot at a cemetery as I feel it is kinda a waste of space/money. After my nephews/nieces generation, I doubt any of their children will remember/know of me enough to visit my grave.

I will bury my mother next to my father in the same cemetery as my grandparents as that is what she wants (plus my parents already paid for the plot) but not sure if I'll want the same done to me.

I bought my 2017 Subaru Outback new. I qualified for a 0% interest for 48 months so opted for the monthly payment. One more year till I'm done.

That being said, I am very surprised to see payment plans of 60 and 72 months now. If there is interest, I can see that as a way to make consumers focus on the low monthly payments but gain interest from them over time. But if there's some promotion for 60-72 months and 0% interest, I'm stump as to what dealerships is hoping to gain from that other than to make it more enticing. Granted whether it be four years or six years, the dealership is gonna get their money eventually anyway.

But to move out just to prove one is capable of wasting money on an apartment seems just that, wasteful. Now moving out to a condo or house is a separate matter. I kinda see it as an all-or-nothing thing despite the cost of housing. At least a condo or house can be a worthwhile investment if one can afford it. An apartment is just a waste of money.

I work in an engineering office. Occasionally there is some casual conversation in the background, some more noticeable than others. One talkative coworker mentioned he is not as loud as other people in the office. Another coworker responded that it is not about who is louder but who is being heard.

I'd admit, I never thought about looking at it from that perspective. These background conversations are sometime distracting but personally, the folks who are loudest don't do it frequently enough to bother me whereas the talkative coworker who says he is not as loud does it frequently enough that it can be distracting.

To those who work in an office environment, how calm or noisy is it? Do you have talkative coworkers who constantly add to the background noises? Are you that noisy coworker who feel it is okay because others does it worse than you?

Comments are appreciated,

Thank you

[LFAQs-redacted-quote]

I do wonder if child actors/actress are ever given the mental training to prepare for knowing they're gonna be sexualized, some among the public will criticize them for their success and any little thing they do, whatever real life friends they have may view them differently, etc. It comes with the territory of being a celebrity but for their age, how would one even prepare for it? Some child stars survived and made it big while some seem to go off the deep end.

And the Valar are just really powerful Maiar (or more specifically, they're both Ainur - it's essentially the difference between angels and archangels).

So again, do you want to take the most evil and corrupt thing in all of Arda and give it to the most powerful being left in Arda, in the hope that he'll be able to resist it? Especially when we've already seen that the Valar themselves are more than capable of being petty, stubborn, and foolish?

You're pretty much begging to have another Morgoth at that point.
Just kinda wondering since the Ring was created by a being at the Maiar tier level, would it corrupt a being at the Valar tier level? Though I'll agree the Valar themselves have issues.

Pretty convenient.
This for me. I use Bank of America and have not needed to speak to a bank teller or associate in years. I still withdraw cash via the ATM but deposit my checks either via direct deposit for work or via the mobile app. If I do need to resolve an issue, I just call/chat with their customer service.

If the APY is high, is it worth the risk, if any such exist?
I have applied to a few credit cards online and have not had any issues with them. Granted I am mindful of when their 0% APR promotions are over to avoid any interest fees.

Buddhism but personally I do not consider it a religion and more of a way of life.

whats the scene?
I assume it's the scene with the woman laughing, Black Mask getting angry, and making her dance on the table with a torn dress.

I haven't played the tabletop in over several years but I really enjoyed the lore and stories in the codex. I still have a lot of Tyranid figures in the boxes and frames needing to be cut, assembled, and painted. I'll get to it one of these days.....
