I didn't care for the 3DS version due to how SLOW the thing plays (poor framerates and scene planning). So, weirdly, I'm force to go with the original EZ MODO SNES version... but then again, I haven't played the PSP versions so it has a good chance of being the best one --- "Salt cures Everything!" That's the point - the order doesn't matter, so they give you the ability to go in whatever order you want. In the original lttp, the order really doesn't matter with the exception of needing the Cane of Somaria to start Turtle Rock... so if the key progression items were all on the overworld, you could do it in any order as well --- "Salt cures Everything!"
