It's something akin to Catan's roads system I guess. I also hate Catan too. I find both games boring I'm more into Coop games so you might not like my opinion in general and find it of less value. Maybe it's just me but Stardew Valley farming feels more tedious than fun. Because there is a lot of things you can do in Stardew Valley just on your farm. Get milk from the cows, turn the milk into cheese. Get the eggs from the chickens. All the farming, all the things to build, all the people to talk to, ect. Maybe it was just the one I played [Wild World is the one I played, I think. Cover art looks correct], but there was no leaving the town in the one I played, unless I was just stupid and overlooked it. I think I could go to other people's towns on your friends list, but it wasn't hooked up to the Internet. It was a boring, basic town with nothing to do but catch a bug or two and maybe collect some flowers. It was terribly boring to me --- |

It's funny to me how some of the most interesting things about the current AEW product (Hangman Page, Britt Baker, the Dark Order) are things that were initially getting bad responses from the fans ("Hangman is too boring!" "Britt is terrible as a face!" "This fat creepy dude isn't good at all, the Dark Order sucks!") but then AEW took a left turn with them and have turned them into really good things. Hangman is over as hell as the badass "cowboy shit" babyface he's become, Britt turned heel and has been doing some great promos and getting crazy heat from the crowd, and the Dark Order storyline leading to the reveal of the Exalted One tonight has been must-watch content on TV and on social media.
