ST's effects will age much better than the PT, because the sequels embraced the "aged technology" look from the originals and built real sets, real models....it makes it all the more frustrating that they nailed the superficial parts of what made the originals good like special effects, but failed on the basic level of storytelling.

yeah, if the ST got one thing right it's they nailed the look of the OT, while the PT looks too slick and fakey.
