I feel like you're making good faith arguments, and I think the point being made by others is that regardless of whether we are or are not in a war, the goal should be to not be in a war any more as soon as possible? Even if we are in one, maintaining it in the hope of achieving your goals quickly is quite rare, because wars tend to either be over quite quickly or drag on, and on, and on.

Dude university classes Ive been to almost exclusively push for communism and totally hate the capitalist idea and white people. Ive sat in on these classes. Ive looked up some authors whos work we were forced to read and its always some clown who says communism is a great idea.

I know this is just anecdotal so obviously your own experience, but I'm currently doing my degree in political science and international relations. Out of the ~20 professors I've had, I'd say over half of them are social democrats, 2 neolibs, 2 are small 'c' conservatives, 1 an authoritarian capitalist who thinks Singapore is the model everyone should follow, 1 Marxist who specialises in that field (which you kind of need in any political sciences department) but is critical of communist regimes, and 2 hardcore leftists who basically specialise in postmodernism and critical theory. There is definitely a left bias, since only about a quarter aren't left of centre, but it's also very difficult to find people even moderately far right. I think it's because a lot of views considered to be on the right are difficult to back up with evidence and research, and academics tend to not be looking to publish research that goes against their world view.

Alolan Graveler is trash looking and doesn't get redeemed by having old goofy sprites. Pretty meh day. I'm rating these on looks, concept, originality, and personal attachment. Nothing here ticks more than two of those boxes, but they're all solid enough on most of them at the same time. On a different note, I've also always wanted to use a Skorupi for something, but I've never gotten the chance, and it's one of the few "older" non-legendary Pokemon I never seriously used in my countless runs. It looks awesome, but it's also kind of a plain concept.

Also, I'll be incredibly upset if Probopass gets one of the lowest ratings because I don't understand how anyone can hate something that looks so stupid

I really like Starly itself but Staraptor is one of my favourite Pokemon fullstop. I like all the others, though! Except Pidgey. And Pidove, which is even worse and just total garbage.

I should hate Dragonair. It's basically a repeat of Dratini but bigger which is usually the style of Evo I hate. But I love it. Shame Dragonite is an orange Barney the Dinosaur and doesn't even look related to the others. This also reminds me how much I hate most mega designs, especially when they are basically the originals but with a bunch of stupid looking spikes or lumps added on. I actually love Mega Salamence though, it's so goofy looking.

Lots of good designs here, I forgot how much I love some of the pseudo-legends. Lots of really good middle and first stages too, which makes the fact you have to use them forever in-game more bearable.

I had a shiny Wurmple that evolved into a Dustox, and was my first shiny ever. Without that they also get garbage ratings. Not a big fan of many of these, except Yanmega which is one of my favourites. Gen 4's new additions were either garbage or the best thing ever without much in between
