I finished season 1 of Mr. Robot last night. The actual ending of the season felt like a bit of a letdown after everything that happened in the last few episodes. I was expecting either some kind of minor resolution or some kind of sharp cliffhanger and it was sort of neither.

(the odds of getting three of the same uncommon in six packs must be crazy low, right?)

I dont think arena does pack collation so its really the same as getting any three uncommons together. which is to say yes its low, but also not really that crazy.

Ive found it... fine so far but not particularly exciting. I have issues with the mill deck too. It doesnt come together every time, but when it comes together its extremely difficult to combat in best of one queues.

Yeah I have a acer predator xb241h. 144hz and has gsync enabled through DP

I have been researching all day though and pretty much came to the same conclusion that I would have to do a full rebuild at this point. This is what I've put together so far, trying to stay around 1k. let me know what you think:

I did a build very similar to this last year and its been great, even at some resolutions higher than 1080p. My processor is even a bit slower, I only got a Ryzen 5. The Ryzen processors can be a little finicky about ram, but as was already said you can always go into the BIOS and adjust speeds if you need to.

Just about done with my first Krillin. Should be finished up tomorrow. Absolutely not doing a second right now.

Currently sitting at around 1600 stones. Can probably get close to 1700 if there will actually be a WT that last weekend before anniversary. Next two weeks need to hurry up, Im itching to throw these stones away.

You can also do a heavy double attack build. Dunban has a skill that heals you every time you crit and Seven has an ability that always makes your double attacks be crits, so you can combine those to never need much healing. It's heavy on affinity coins though.

You can definitely get through most of the game without heals if you build things right. Using Dunban as a dodge tank doesn't require too much, Shulk's ability is usually enough to handle things in that case.

I mean, yes, that's true. Still, the gap here was definitely larger than I expected going in. I've definitely revisited other games where the feeling is a lot closer than I experienced here. It's still really good, but prior to this replay my memory of XC put it solidly in my top 10 games of all time, while post-replay it's for sure been knocked down a bit.

It didn't hit me as hard as the first time. I think the spectacle and wonderment at this huge RPG world to explore resonated a lot more back in 2011 than it does in 2020 when its been done many more times since. The tedium with the sidequests seemed to set in a bit more this time around too, and I realized that I don't actually find the combat super engaging. I still had a great time with it, but the memories were fonder than the reality.
