I agree with the first part... And disagree with the second. It's possible to say that the looting and violence is bad, bad I think it's a bit short sighted to let instances of violence obscure what the real meaning of the protests are about. Or at least, I don't think it should diminish it.

And it sucks that there are some people who are going to refuse to take it seriously because they seen x amount of violence. I don't know man. When large crowds of people gather, shit happens and it becomes hard to control. Just because some people take advantage of it, I'm not going to forget what started the protests in the first place

just watched russell hantz interview wendall holland on his podcast discussing the recent minnesota murder of a black man at the hands of police. russell was clearly out of his depth but i gained respect for both of them in that interview tbh

russell is mostly ignorant about the issue but it was truly impressive to me he gave a platform for discussion about a pressing issue and wendell handled it great and explained his perspective very succinctly to russell. never really seen anything from wendell outside of the game so that humanized him for me and he was very patient with russell and the conversation was definitely overall productive imo

he talked survivor waw as well and explained how awful natalie played the edge social game despite having a huge advantage of the players in the actual game
