What's really saddening is that no opinion poll on Trump, being general favorability or on specific issues ("Rate how he has handled Covid") has approval lower than about 30%. Which means you could Thanos-snap away that 30%, millions of people, and have a net-gain for humanity in America. It really is a cult.

Plus effects like those comets and meteor are easily survived within the context of FFVII, making them less impressive than their real world equivalents. In the context of a world where people have that level of power, Link certainly would as well. However, Link is a chosen one whereas Cloud is not. Link would win by default.

I would kill for a remaster of Demon Souls, what a masterpiece of a game. Fix up the lighting and the combat, maybe add some extra content. Definitely a day 1 buy. Still haunted by what I did to poor Astraea...
