I mean there's two trans offspring in my family (of 5 kids tbf), and both share the same dad out of the group. (The breakdown of the 5 kids is 2 kids per dad except the last dad only having the one.)

If it makes you feel any better, for some reason I thought my spouse got a Seven Deadly Sins game for some reason (it was a Fairy Tail game so idek what is up with my brain) and so when they brought up Lucy I got super confused so I asked who Lucy was.

I was literally thinking 'I know who Lucy in Fairy Tail is but idek wtf Lucy in Seven Deadly Sins is'.

It hit me what was going on, and I flat out admitted what my brain did. (I'd just woken up so they probably thought I was just having normal sleepy brain. Didn't seem to think much about it. We had a good chuckle when I explained, and they did seem genuinely surprised when I explained so I really do think they thought I just didn't register fully the name just getting up.)

Stuff like that randomly.

But yeah it's a funny show, kinda crude throughout fair warning.

The whole "2000 calories/day" thing is largely nonsense, lingering from WWII-era nutrational recommendations. Actual caloric needs depend on height, weight, and physical activity level. I've calculated my own, based on moderate activity, and I came in at ~3400, which is purely a consequence of being 6'4" and 190 pounds. If memory serves, Clench is about that height and probably quite a bit heavier due to all the powerlifting, and definitely qualifies as being highly active, so 3000 is perfectly reasonable. If anything, I'd expect quite a bit higher than that.

When I was in Jr high school we had to do a dietary thing with a professional program and everything for a week or two.

According to it just to maintain my already underweight weight I needed to consume 5k calories a day.

My metabolism has shifted some finally, but I'm still slightly underweight.

I've only been to one, in high school. Saw Sammy Hagar. Had to leave early, but it was fun overall.

I literally can't hear my own voice when I'm talking most of the time. I hear the words, but not really the actual sound.

When I do hear it, I wonder htf anyone puts up with it. I sound like a literal child. I hate it.

Recordings are the absolute worst. I'd rather die than actually hear my own voice. It annoys me so badly it actually makes me kind of mad.

My freezer and my extra chest freezer don't have room.

The money's being treated as tips, mostly. They're giving the guy money because they like how he served his customer. I would agree that he didn't really do anything to earn $100,000, but I'm also in no place to suggest that he doesn't deserve money that people are willingly giving to him.

She, on the other hand, has had no money willingly given to her, meaning she deserves nothing. This suit is a desperate cry for attention and it's kind of hilarious how thoroughly her lawyer is taking her for a ride.

Whether or not he deserves it is immaterial honestly. People decided he was worth giving their money to. It's not my place to tell people what to spend their money on.

I wouldn't say this is working for Russia so much as it is working for Trump. This whole situation is making him look bad, so he's taking steps to prevent that. Pretty much his entire presidency has been about self-serving optics rather than trying to do anything genuinely beneficial.

Misgendering and dead naming happen all the time irl, even with well meaning people.

Everyone on my mom's side has no problem with me being trans, and while they use the correct pronouns only two of my 3 sisters don't use my birth name.

It definitely sucks, don't get me wrong, but I'm not sure that I'm particularly angry either. Honestly can't say that I am angry. Or offended either.

Swery feels like he messed up and wants to fix it, so at the end of the day it really doesn't matter. Unless other actions reflect something different, I'd chalk this up to trying and making a mistake.

I'm wishing you good luck. I have a LOT of days that start bad and end up that way myself, but believe it or not sometimes they turn right around. So here's hoping.

First trilogy is better imo, but they're both good.

Or are completely unaware. A good chunk seem to be miserable or so far gone they seem to be stuck in some 'golden period' from the past.

I remember when our neighbor (not direct, on house between us) walked into our house when I was a kid just flipping out. Swearing her husband was dead. He wasn't. He came to get her.

At that point she had more good days than days like that, and honestly I think the rare occurrence only happened at night (and not every night if course, again was rare at that point but that wasn't the first time she thought that apparently). But yeah scared the hell out of me.

But my great grandparents made it to like 93 ish, and they seemed pretty alright up to the end. Lived in their own place and everything. Family visited, but none were really there needing to take care of them really. Exception to the rule, I know. Most seem to fall in the first mentioned states.

The parents didn't matter, the kids didn't matter, it seemed like the ship just started communication and that was that. Aside from one thing with the dad, that was so stupid it felt like the dad was straight up just a plot piece.

Even with that the parents 2-dimensional nature annoyed the piss out of me. The mom was overly doting to the point the kid 'could do no wrong' and the dad was so much of a hardass that sometimes there felt to be no room for errors and growth.

The sad thing is it seemed like the kid was actually happy to go out hunting with his dad, and that was such a stupid thing for the dad to do but he basically had to be stupid for the plot to do what they wanted.

I'd be lying if I said I hated the movie, but I'd be lying if I said the more I thought about it it didn't start to feel like 'plot points: the movie'.

It's great for BBQing. If you like dark meat (thighs/legs), it's one of the best ways to cook em/make em. A bit of BBQ sauce and your rocking. I'm not using bbq sauce (just spices) since i'm making tacos, but this is an exception. It's seriously good though. Way better than getting em with the bones etc.

See I always liked to shred thighs for tacos, but always had to shred it off the bone too so that is very interesting.

Hadn't even thought of the BBQ angle, but that's a good one too.

When the life hack fad started there were some cool and useful ones. But it got too popular so people just flooded with any possible way to do normal shit in a different way. Everybody wanted to make their own lifehack videos and so many of the so called "hacks" were just rubbish. You ended up with less than ideal results or it just didn't even really work. It's super rare to see an actually useful one these days.

Basically.

Life hacks are usually pretty clickbait and a bunch are straight up lies. Either entirely doesn't work, or you're really not saving time and/or money. Which is the whole freaking point.

A few are actually good though.

Citation: the comic was abruptly cancelled and the writer forced to finish it (at least he was allowed to finish it) and it was rushed and terrible. The show, which was naturally behind the comic at that point, just straight made up its own ending with some filler bullshit to close off the series.

My sister as a minor (different than one that lives here, youngest sibling) got a gun pulled on her and handcuffed along with like 3 other minors just for basically trespassing in an abandoned house.

Two of them used to live in that house. No one had lived in it for a while. No one lives there still actually. I think the bank foreclosed on it.

Like yeah it's illegal. I get taking action. They pointed a gun at someone no older than 13. Right off the bat. And apparently continued to do so after taking them outside. Multiple people have confirmed the outdoor part. She's always been someone to just shrug stuff off, and she was crying to the point of hyperventilating.

High humidity though? Basically anything kills me. High 69-low 70 but high humidity? Dying in the most weather appropriate clothes. 100+ and low humidity is nothing to me.

I don't know about after school, but certainly during school hours. Because of lawsuits and transportation issues nowadays, I'm not sure how many would do it after school rather than during normal hours.

When I was in high school at least they basically said you were old enough to deal with it, and if you lived in the country your parents had to work something out. Period. No fucks given.

The detention teacher was a really nasty person too. I ended up with a UTI from her not only refusing to let me pee in detention (you had to go like right after school let out or you'd be locked out) and then following and threatening to call the cops if I went to the bathroom.

Believe it or not, I wasn't really a delinquent. I got detention for being late. After that I refused to go, and got in school for it. Guess what? In school was miles better than regular class. You basically got to just do your work, in peace, and eat lunch early.

Honestly I probably would have put a lot more in easier in those conditions. Oh well, gotta love teach to test. I was always good at tests. School was mostly boring and most of the useful stuff they always kept harping that we should have learned it in grade school.

Anyway tangent aside... Color me surprised.

Unfortunately around here we haven't found a single 'new' line unit. I say unfortunately because I can't transfer from my 'new' model to a regular model which means the DLC and digital only games (as well as one physical that is apparently too tied to the DLC) are completely lost to me.

It's really starting to bug me.

I haven't even seen the old line units tbh. Nothing. Everybody is citing COVID-19 and saying handhelds are bought up and Nintendo isn't sending more now.

I have so many freaking old line ones tho. Well like 3.
