Misgendering and dead naming happen all the time irl, even with well meaning people.
Everyone on my mom's side has no problem with me being trans, and while they use the correct pronouns only two of my 3 sisters don't use my birth name. It definitely sucks, don't get me wrong, but I'm not sure that I'm particularly angry either. Honestly can't say that I am angry. Or offended either. Swery feels like he messed up and wants to fix it, so at the end of the day it really doesn't matter. Unless other actions reflect something different, I'd chalk this up to trying and making a mistake. ... Copied to Clipboard!
