uhhh the flag was invented by pro-slavery white supremacist. It was outright stated to be a symbol of white supremacy by its creator.

The battle flag was made for battle recognition of the Confederate side. Its use is strictly to represent the Confederate side which as we know was not a war of racists vs non-racists but a menagerie of ideals including economic necessity of slavery in the global economy.

1440p is substantially better, but 4K cleans up aliasing entirely. 1440p is worth getting but 4K does make 1440p's mild aliasing stand out.

And this is why it's such a fantastic response. Cries about white privilege are almost exclusively referring to rich privilege and are solved by issues of wealth divide. She targets the actual issue at hand and doesn't devolve in to race baiting.

An AR-15 has a max effective range of 300 meters, while the average handgun has max effective range of about 91 meters. Pretty sure 300 is a lot more than 91.

An M14 has an effective range of 500 meters but you don't see everyone and their dog using one. 5.56 is an intermediate round, it is for middle distance combat i.e. 200m+, at close range it overpenetrates and that means a less lethal wound.

A pistol is made for short distance, say shouting distance, in this range it doesn't overpenetrate so it cavitates creating a larger wound. Pistol bullets are fatter, they make a bigger hole, rifle rounds are flatter and slip through with less damage if they don't have time to shed some speed.

Sure, but that doesn't mean that every viewpoint held by an organization that resents centralized power is part of American culture. Not all rectangles are squares and whatnot.

All traitors are treasonous, is in your blood. You can't help it, it's just how Americans are. You have so many people resentful of governance in your country because that's just what you guys are inherently like. Even when given the chance to make government exactly how you want it, you still have an in-built urge to destroy it.

This is the problem with black and white thinking. There are degrees of "okay", we have various degrees of murder and manslaughter with various degrees of sympathy for them because severity matters.

A mild problem requires a mild response; if we had a protest everytime McDonalds got your order wrong we'd be in a civil war by now. When officers are expected to forcibly arrest people, injuries are a mild deviation from the expectation. It's unreasonable to treat police shooting a criminal wrongly the same as a pedestrian shooting another person wrongly.

This might surprise you, but people generally don't like shooting other people. They do like shooting people who are attacking and robbing them and their colleagues though.

They get discretion to shoot if there's a threat to them or others so they use it as it's a serious problem that needs to be addressed. It's very hard to make the rules very strict as people do get scared and will find it hard to keep RoE in their heads. If an officer feels a threat to their lives but RoE threatens to imprison them if they slip up and they end up getting shot from that hesitation, cops will be too scared to do their jobs.

Nobody wants to be paid peanuts to endanger themselves then get imprisoned because the threat dropped their gun just before they shot, for example. They need relative freedom to use force or relative safety in their jobs; if they're told anybody could shoot them even at a routine traffic stop, they're not going to be happy to do their jobs without a gun.
