Why risk it if you can stop at anytime. He gave 2 weeks notice for a job hes starting on monday but needs a week and a half to get clean which means he ate them last weekend while knowing he was going to get tested

I didn't know I was going to get tested though, I didn't take any between first talking to the recruiter and taking the test

If I were seriously job searching I wouldn't be using, but this came up as a fairly surprising opportunity

Maybe read posts? I didn't have much warning between talking to the recruiter and doing the test, didn't use between, and have gotten jobs requiring me to be clean without issue.

I don't smoke, I use edibles occasionally on the weekend, which are largely harmless, and I have no problem getting clean when needed.

i'm all for the 1st thing being legal but not that :(.

It being legalized is net positive. It's by far the least dangerous recreational drug, and legalization makes it a lot safer to buy because you know the source is good. It also is extremely good in helping with anxiety disorders.

Even if marijuana were 100% legal, employers still reserve the right to turn you away if its detected in your system. Im not a heavy user and its beneficial are not going to help you when you get popped. That being said, hopefully you still have a job.

I have no problem with employers testing for it, the problem is I was explicitly told they don't. Not even in response to a question either, the recruiter said as much before I even brought it up

You are not required to put in two weeks, regardless of where you work. I get that you were trying to be a nice guy, but it's very rare your employer will reciprocate.

I work in a residential home for mental health care. Clients need 24/7 care and they're short staffed as is. I'm not leaving them high and dry.

And this is a great life lesson. You did good with putting in the notice, Im guessing 2 weeks, but where you messed up was not having a job 100% confirmed good to go heres your start date already set before putting in the notice.

If I heard there was a drug test and knew I (likely) had THC in my system, Id have just declined to go further.

Employers excluding thc is very common here.

I have no problem dropping use, as I don't even use it heavily to begin with, but it's legitimately helpful and legal.

Found a new job that was just perfect, and it had a drug test. Recruiter repeatedly told me it was only four panel, because it isn't a federal job and Marijuana is legal here.

Put in notice and take the test because other than thc my system is clean. Get a call back today that they ordered a five panel test, and can't get a solid answer if it was the wrong order or if I don't get the job.

Very good for it's time and had some cool stages, but the physics feel off, the game is a bit inconsistent, and it's often more tedious than fun or challenging. Doesn't hold up near as well as 2 or 3

I don't know near enough about the history to say, but I'm curious. How much longer would ww1 have gone on, and would it maybe have ended in better terms for Germany to alleviate the conditions that let Hitler talk Germany into more fighting?

Whedon choose to leave due to studio/producer interference in his process, to the point of it being detrimental to his work. Cant say I blame him, it sounds like he put up with some serious shit.

Honestly given what I've heard about Whedon, he's an asshole and I'm doubting it's as black and white as whedon makes it out to be.

Also, I would love to see spader Ultron come back and be more like comic Ultron, I think that casting was amazing just the writing needs a change

-Everyone was quippy for no god damn reason.

-Whedon treats Captain America as a parody of Captain America instead of Captain America.

-Ultron was NOT an Avengers level threat and was barely able to 1v1 Cap.

-Vision being too powerful is too jarring given how poorly he does in Civil War and ESPECIALLY Infinity War.

-Out of nowhere Bruce and Natasha romance.

-Mind controlled Hulk was the big fight in the middle for the second time in a row. AND Hulk posed a bigger threat than Ultron ever did.

If they let Whedon continue and do Infinity War as well, it would have been an unmitigated disaster.

Honestly I'm glad whedon is gone, we got an all out upgrade who seem to be way better people overall
