Platinum is super fun to Nuzlocke. A huge variety of Pokmon and plenty of gift Pokmon too. Consider Old Rod Magikarp, the gift Eevee in Hearthome, and early Gible as possible party members

Maniac Mansion is literally playable within Day of the Tentacle, which is a really cool touch. Looks a lot more dated but Ill get around to it. Ive also got Broken Age but seeing as how thats a kickstarter revival of the genre, I want to get a few more of the classics under my belt before playing it. Also have Grim Fandango and ive heard good things

Just finished Day of the Tentacle, it was fun, like an episode of a cartoon. I liked the style of humour it had. Once you figure out one piece of the puzzle, its pretty satisfying when things start falling into place and you know exactly what to do next, and so on.

What are some fun point and clicks I can try out next? Before this I really only played more guided adventure games/visual novels like Ace Attorney, Professor Layton and Life is Strange. And Zelda and the Lampshade of No Real Significance

Sheer Cold becomes less accurate as the level gap between the user and the target increases.

if your levels are equal itll hit 30 percent of the time.

if youre ten levels lower than her itll hit 40 percent of the time.

if youre ten levels higher itll hit 20 percent of the time.

@AlisLandale its the opposite, actually. The accuracy is 30+however many levels higher you are than the opponent, but I think theres a max limit (doesnt go all the way up to 100). If youre lower level than the opponent, itll never hit. Also, in newer gens, they made it so Sheer Cold calculates with 20% instead of 30% if the user isnt an ice type. I think thats because ice has no immunities, so its the preferred OHKO move for smeargle cheese

Butterfree puts in work. Compoundeyes Sleep Powder is 97% accurate and Butterfree is reasonably fast for ingame. Teach it Dream Eater in Viridian City once you get Cut or Surf and itll wreck the many poison types and fighting types of Kanto.

Also, you can fish for a Poliwag/Whirl once you get a good rod in Viridian, and then trade that for an OP Jynx in Cerulean

I'm almost at the end.

I've played the game a bunch of times before and I'll play it again. It's the game that first got me into RPGs as a kid. I used to have it on SNES but I'm a dumbass and sold all my SNES stuff about 10 years ago.

ah. I played it for the first time ever earlier this year, with the patch, and I loved it. The whole game is great but I especially loved the first half of the game as you go on zany adventures trying to prove Bo/Boschs innocence. The frog kingdom was especially fun

I've always wanted to but I haven't had a computer in years.

I've been wanting to get a laptop for a while now but keep procrastinating on it. When I do get one, the first thing I'm planning on doing is modding my SNES mini classic.

honestly just put off playing it until you can do the translation patch. How far into it are you? The first half of that game is absurdly funny, and the shoddy translation isnt going to do it justice. @a-c-a-b

its cuz of all the flashbacks, parallels and side tracking that happens.

that and it feels kinda tacked on. The Naruto hype train was in full force so Kishimoto was forced to continue the series. A short arc wrapping all the loose ends after the Pain arc wouldve been a great way to end things, and looking back, the setup was there for it, that was obviously the plan. For reference, the War Arc is more than half the total episodes of Shippuden

They shouldve revived Cell and thrown him into the RoSaT with Gohan, and have Gohan just beat the s*** out of him until he levels up to all the other characters. Give them an uneasy respect/hate rivalry. Makes more sense than Frieza training for 4 months and 17 fighting poachers, and it gives Gohan something interesting and unique to do

lol the opposite thing happened with one of the Radiant fire emblem games. Normal mode was actually Hard Mode and Easy mode was normal
