That's the only reason I did it. Because it got me up to solidly in the 60+FPS realm in games where I would be struggling to hold in the 50s before. It was the cheapest way I could upgrade and see a difference. Interesting! What game was it, if you don't mind me asking? I really haven't seen any indication before that memory speeds have appreciable effects on framerates. --- |
