Stop it. Stop it right now.

It's foolish to think that way, you're just putting yourself down for no reason. You don't control these things on a major level. There will always be stuff like this involved in relationships as an excuse to keep one foot out the door. The only reason anyone relationship ever worked out is because they didn't lean on that foot and dip out over any issue. And everything doesn't have to fall in place immediately, because it never will. When has life ever worked like that for anyone? You gotta gather the strength to not make excuses to immediately stop trying and fall into self pity. That's a whole part of it for everyone. This situation isn't unique in any way.
I mean, I'm still gonna see where this goes. It's just that distance is a problem for me. In theory I wouldn't have any issue with a distance relationship, but that feels more like something that develops over time between people who already like each other. Not a pre-arranged situation .

Idk, this is all knew for me, and yes it's intimidating. But I'm trying. I know this is something I need to get through in order to get what I want out of life.

Also, I didn't mean to detail the topic. I'm not gonna post again about this. If you have more to say feel free to message.

:0. Congrats man! I been following your lore enough to know how much this would mean for you. Just try not to put too much weight on it. Cause the more weighy you put on it, the heavier it will crash down on you if things don't work out. But you seem to be open to the reality that sometimes it's no one in particulars fault when that happens, which is good. I hope the best for you man. You seem like a solid dude. You just beat yourself up a little bit too much imo.
Thanks. If it falls through, it'll be because of me I'm sure. I didn't realize she was an hour and a half away when I asked. I know that's not much of a distance to most people, but it's way farther than I've ever been. So, that's intimidating.

We've agreed to just talk for now and see if our schedules ever line up and go from there. It's just, I never actually believed I'd get this far(which is dumb because literally nothing has happened).

I recently decided to give dating a another try. I got 2 matches and had the balls to ask one out for a date... She actually said yes. Now I'm not so sure it's actually going to work out due to distance(my problem) and work schedules not lining up(both of us have dumb schedules).

But like, after a lifetime of failure this one minor success feels pretty great. Even if things don't line up.

Zombies don't attack each other, so they don't eat undead flesh. In all likelihood the corpse is in the process of becoming undead itself. So an actual living uninfected person makes a more enticing meal, at least that's how I rationalized it.

Plus more recent zombies are attracted to movement and noise, which the corpse doesn't have.

Yeah, I was always shy and quiet. Never stood up for myself, which made me a prime target once people figured that out.

Was always insulted and made fun of. Had my stuff stolen. Grades sabotaged when we graded each other's work. Eventually I just became the outcast. The only acceptable way my classmates interacted with me was to do something to me.

Some of the guys liked to rough me up. Nothing too major, but they would hang up on me and hold me down(usually 3 on 1). They'd take my bookbag and dump everything out, and maybe kick me around some. Besides getting dirty and having to pick up my stuff, worst I got was a bloody nose/busted lip and a bunch of kicks to the groin.

Some of the worst things are: Punched in the stomach upon returning after surgery(right on the surgical spot). Had someone write an extremely rude letter to a classmate who just had a death in her family and they signed my name to it. Once I went to open my locker and got a handful of... stuff, which had been smeared on my lock. Let's just say it had to have been a guy to have done that one... v_v
During senior year, we were all signing the class flag. So when my turn came up, I chose a spot in the corner with enough room. Well, apparently my name was too close to one of the popular people's so they yelled at me then painted over it so the other popular guys could group their names together instead.

I never really had any real issues with you, tc. I did think it was weird how you'd hassle me over my complaints about having a horrible family just to turn and do the same yourself.

Also, last time we interacted, you seemed to have either confused me with someone else entirely, or made up a false story of why you don't like me. So, leaning more towards a no at this point, but honestly we've been doing fine just avoiding each other.

I'll admit, I've only played 3U, Gen, Stories, and a little bit of world but I don't recall guns or vehicles like that.

Which game has those?

The monster looks good, but the vehicles and present day our world guns/vehicles makes the whole thing feel lazy and cookie cutter to me. I'm very sad now.

I asked my spouse and they said the guns technically could pass but the vehicles are a no.
Apparently this movie takes place on regular Earth, with the monsters somehow coming from the Monster Hunter world.

I'm not sure it is. In Sword/Shield the resurected fossils are all messed up. It happened because they took multiple pieces of different fossils, glued them together, then revived it. A clone probably wouldn't need to be pieced together or come out like that.

Grooming? You can groom adults now?

Anyway I never did anything besides answer her emails and accept her invites for years. I was always polite and empathetic when we met, and never said or did anything inappropriate.

Not sure how that's grooming?
It's because you said you'd been working with her for years, and it ended with her at 20. It implies she was 18 or less when you met, and that you'd been harboring feelings for her the whole time.

I assume that's not the case, but that's what they're saying. That you, as a teacher/guide/whatever, met a young student and worked with her until she was age appropriate and then attempted to act on it.

TopicYour most brutal rejection?
KogaSteelfang
10/05/20 2:39:05 PM

I haven't bothered in about 3-4 years. Since the last rejection. It wasn't the rejection itself that was brutal, it was the fact that I actually believed I had a chance for once, then what happened after.

Worked with this beautiful woman. Jet black hair, bright blue eyes, slender, model looking type. Figured from the start that I had no chance, so I never bothered. Plus, all the other men there kept low key sexually harassing her. She hated it, so I assumed if I showed any interest that she'd just lump me in with the rest that she considered pigs.

Until one night, her ride is late so she's stuck there with me. Just the two of us. For the first time ever I saw her open up. She was always guarded and quiet before. Now though, she was laughing and telling jokes. Following me around talking about her hobbies, and pokemon, and drawing. She showed me her sketch book. It really felt like we just clicked. I'd tell a dumb joke, and she'd laugh. It just felt good to be connecting with her that way. I'm still not sure if she was flirting with me at all, or if I'm just stupid. Anyway, when she left she leaned back in and gave a really drawn out "Byeeeeeeeeee" then giggled as she left.

Well, for the first time in my life I thought I had a chance. Thought maybe she liked me, I was desperately trying to think if a way to let her know I liked her without freaking her out. So... when some other co-workers jokingly told me I should ask her out(one said we'd make beautiful babies). I told them I was thinking about doing so. That was a huge mistake. They went straight to her and told her, she never spoke to me again. She'd step outside before I arrived and leave without a word.

So word got around that I liked her and she didn't return the feeling. Once my dad learned I liked her, he started sending her dirty messages and pictures. He was trying to get with her himself just to hurt me more. She just forwarded the messages to my mom, and it caused a huge problem for my family again.

So yeah, the one time I seriously wanted to ask someone out ended up with me being ridiculed at work, embarrassed over the apparent misunderstanding, and causing my parents a huge dilemma.

In high school I heard a nasty rumor about a classmate that I knew wasn't true. So next class that I saw her, I went to earn her about what being spread about her.

As soon as I went to say anything, she interrupted me with the typical "I have a boyfriend!" line. Scoffed at the idea that I had the audacity to approach her. So I just told her I was only trying to earn her about the rumor I heard... Then she kept following me around asking what it was.
