I powered through the fungus boss and Tomassi with no problems the first time I encountered them and only saw that they were hard fights after looking online. Guess I got lucky

Now the Former is another story. If I take my eye off it I get blown up or stabbed, if I don't look away I fall through parts of the stage and die.

I also like Korra more than TLA. The main thing TLA has over Korra is that they fleshed out all of the supporting characters (Katara, Toph, Sokka, Zuko) in scenes that didn't need Aang. This doesn't happen in Korra except with Lin and Suyin oddly enough, but the storylines and villains are much better.

Actually now that I think about it, TLA and Korra are like the exact opposite for character development. Aang barely changed other than dropping the super childish act starting when he burned Katara, and everyone else had an assload of development with the main one being Zuko. Korra goes through a ton of shit each season, while everyone else is an afterthought.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

Both of them have interesting stories and very fun combat, and feel like honest efforts by game developers where they didn't half ass anything or get greedy with microtransactions. My only complaint about both is that I liked them so much that I need more.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 is another game that got me hooked but I do have one legit complaint about a certain character having unskippable dialogue where one sentence stays up on the screen for like 15 seconds and he has a lot to say. Somebody flubbed that programming hardcore.

I can barely fit an EVGA 2070 Super (3 slots) in my Lian Li case and the 3090 is slightly bigger than that

If EVGA has their own version of an 3090 you might need a case the size of a refrigerator

The 2070 Super isn't struggling with anything other than maxing vr games and Microsoft Flight Sim. If it weren't for VR and the machine learning application boosts for the 30 series I would have been completely fine waiting for the 40 series a couple years or so from now.

I have a half baked dream of running a local robot parts shop in my 60s or older where people can come in and assemble small robots and program them, with me having something like a monthly workshop to teach programming. I wouldn't do it for the profit, more like to pass time in "retirement" before kicking the bucket.

But this assumes that modular robot parts become somewhat popular in the next few decades. I got the idea from remembering a local game shop that I loved to visit as a kid where they hosted very small card game tournaments and workshops to assemble Gundams, and then also from watching Robotics;Notes >_>

I thought the first DLC was worth $15, especially with it introducing max mushrooms

I caught so many gigantamax pokemon with shit stats before that DLC, and I wasn't a fan of having to wait until level 100 to make their stats not shit. Now you can breed your own OP pokemon with hidden abilities, egg moves, perfect IVs and natures, and then add that form.

There's a rumor that for the next DLC they're gonna introduce an item that will allow you to change your Pokemon's ability to its hidden ability in addition to the current item that lets you switch between non hidden abilities. So that will be another thing to reduce the rampant RNG in the game, and the shinies collecting dust in my boxes may have some use instead of just being a visual flex.

Probably need to update your definition of midrange because a 3070 is looking to be the third best graphics card overall for gaming

Actually when has a 70 card ever been midrange. There used to be an obvious jump in performance going from a 50 card to a 60 card, but that's not happening anymore.

Yeah I don't know jack about neuroscience, but I do know robotics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. So from my newbie level understanding of this, Elon is just doing the same snake oil salesman shit with neuralink just like he does with Tesla.

The impressive thing about Tesla is the battery, and pretty much nothing else unless you find car fires or cars slamming into stationary objects impressive. It's zero wonder why he has consistently failed to live up to his grand promises about self driving cars year after year when you have had industry, academia, and even the military throwing money and engineers at the problem for the last two decades. But instead of Tesla folks publishing papers in that area, they just spit out any buzzwords that stick to get investors and the weird fanboys excited so I agree entirely with the criticism in the tweet.
