Okay I swear I saw a post from pus here saying she'd potentially be willing to do a short.

@Pus_N_Pecans id honestly like to pursue that. I've had health issues lately so money isn't exactly abundant but id still be willing to put in a bit at least as a token tribute thanks or whatever.

They really are.

Apparently you aren't even supposed to feed them when its really cold and they made it through last winter fine even when it was an inch of ice sealing the pond over.

I think this one is Thai owned, but it's always the same 5 people working there when I go in. It's right at the highway dump off and it's the first gas and restaurant pull off for like 18 miles either way so the truckers keep them afloat for sure. They used to have a big koi pond right when you walked in and they paid me like $30 a month to come test the water twice and make sure the filter was all good, but they decided to break it all down and drain it when COVID hit because they were running very limited hours and were trying to save money I guess.

That sucks. The place my mom bought last year has a pond and she liked it for about 6 months and hates it now cause pine needles and stuff always fall in.

I think its awesome and she should keep but she hates it. Its only got goldfish since its kinda small for koi and she asked me back in the fall if I'd hike em into the "goldfish pond" here.

The goldfish pond is an old flooded mine someone released goldfish into probly around the time I was born and they have thrived like crazy. Its actually really neat. Super green water and you just go there, toss in some food, and boom 309 goldfish show up.

There's a surprisingly decent chinese place local here.

Somehow my little 1400 person town has the best Chinese in the valley. Id literally have to go to Vancouver for better Chinese and Kelowna isn't really small... its like 200k or so I think.

Its just one Chinese guy, his wife, and one other lady that work there. They open 8-2 and 4-9 and besides the 2 weeks each year they spend in China they're there every single day.

I love that restaurant

They do what they call meal for ones and its 13 bucks for 3 huge servings of your choice. My go to is box one - prawns, chicken chow mein, almond chicken, and 2 is sweet and sour pork, chicken fried rice, and dry garlic ribs. Plus egrolls of course.

I love Chinese when I'm drunk.

I rolled 4 joints earlier and went to smoke the first one and there were only 3. Ten minutes later I decided I was crazy and smoked one already.... then I found a joint in my cats litter box.

The last book I read is now leaning against his litter box and he's dragged the fucking 20lbs of litter slightly away from his box somehow.

Hes so fucking weird about his litter box. He hates when I do a full on clean. Replacing litter is OK. Washing it just sets him off.

My right side kitchen sink was plugged to fuck. Didn't leak but it was lazy so I got drano. Didn't work so I ended up taking the pipe apart and cleaning it but now my drain stinks so much so I guess something is stuck somewhere further down.... still drains but something is dead down there.

Anyways I'm surprised I could only find a live version but I did 27.5 12 plus hour days (*straight in one haul) once in a dark winter wasteland during bad times and going home I was so happy cause that entire job was done and I had money like crazy and this song played

My most memorable cat was the toughest ruthless son of a bitchin domesticated cat I have to this day come across. I had pictures somewhere where he was sitting next to me in my crib when I was a baby, so he watched over me, and then about 13-14 years later he got older and slowed down....

I'll never forget the night died. He used to always lie at the foot of my bed but that night I had to help him up, and he had enough energy to walk towards my arms and lie down instead of going to the foot of the bed. He just started almost immediately having difficulty breathing and I knew what was happening so I just kept petting him and he just finally let out one last gasp of air.... I never thought you could really have a serious connection with a pet but I know for sure that you can. That one destroyed me.

I had a cat from the moment my dad took me home from the hospital till I moved out 17 years later and she basically loved me and no one else.

I'll never not feel awful about not being able to bring her with me but she was an orchard cat from day one and I was a broke 17 year old who couldn't do much for her.

My dad moved off the orchard like 4 years later and she died within a few months off the move. At least I got to see her a bunch before she died. She just retreated into a closet and wouldn't let anyone else near her.

I'm legitimately almost tearing up remembering her.

Also I'm tying in my rom com idea.

So we have to do a scene where johnny shows up outside Jim's bedroom window with an 80s boom box and sings along to I think we're alone now by Tiffany and eventually reveals he's got water proof clothing under his suit and the water proof clothing is filled with like 17 bottles of ketchup.

So jim walks up all slow and enticing then stabs johnny and the ep ends and there's a cliff hanger cause it looks like he is dying but really when the next ep starts jim is feasting on a gushing fountain of pressurized ketchup and johnny is totally fine.
