Let it go already. I used to LOVE SoA growing up but it's doesn't need a sequel or a revival. Besides I doubt Sega could deliver a quality game based on fan expectation anyway. The regular battle system was a a slightly worse version of Grandia too. Ship battles were cool though.

I would at least like an HD port

Having a smartphone that legitimately doubles as a full tablet is so useful. while the folding mechanic itself is arguably a gimmick, what it actually allows you to do transforms how to use your phone in ways that makes it significantly more useful.

I bet when this technology gets cheaper, it's going to be a hit.

Atlas weapons in BL1 were awesome, but they were extremely rare.

Jakobs really boils down to what kind of enemy you're facing, because their general lack of weapons with elemental effects makes shielded / armored enemies kind of annoying. Unarmored humanoids/animals are usually one-hit-kills, though.

Maliwan is the opposite - great for breaking shields/barriers/armor but not great on enemies themselves. Having a 1-2 mix of Maliwan / Jakobs is a great way to finish off complex enemies.

Torgue boom explosion lol

Side note - I do genuinely like COV's "no reloading" gimmick

People have been calling for an optimization patch for BL3 since day one. They always said "we're working on it."

I'm curious if it ever came.

I realize a laptop GPU, even a high-end one, isn't gonna miraculously run games at 60fps in 4K. But given how relatively non-complex the game looks, it's super weird that I can't get a consistent 60fps even at 1440p.

I felt the same way when I first started playing BL3. It gets old fast trust me.

One thing I noticed is that due to how Mayhem Mode mechanics work, you can set it to Mayhem 10 and then do Arms Race, where the difficulty by design doesn't change, yet the weapons do.

As soon as I beat the game I got a Mayhem 10 Plasma Coil and basically won the game, more or less.

My one major complaint with the game is that it is unusually demanding on PC hardware.

Don't get me wrong - it's a nice-looking game, but I should get more than 70fps at 1080p on a 2080MQ

I can't even hit 60fps at 1440p and 4K is like 30fps
