An impeachment is really just a popularity contest. If a sitting president is so unpopular that it would be politicially convenient for his party to detach themselves from him, he'll be impeached and convicted.

I think Bush could've perhaps been convicted if there had been an impeachment in 2008. But right now Trump is too popular for republicans to be willing to risk alienating a large part of their support base

In the end, the facts don't matter at all. It's all about convenience.

For what it's worth, an impeachment trial isn't really a criminal trial.

And Trump has quite a few of those lined up, some of which are felony-level.

Felons can actually run for President, which is kind of strange considering their voting rights.

Oh absolutely, but most of those people werent put directly in danger by Trump. The fact that the ones who were are still pretending otherwise is even more painful than the ordinary dumbfucks.

The mechanics of government trials require a 2/3rds majority, which means that the people who literally commit the crimes have to essentially vote themselves guilty, otherwise they're immune.

I don't know how we can deal with that if we have a party that has essentially allowed itself to go rogue.

I think FF2 at least has a decent story for its time, and the mechanic of using key terms that you learn to get NPCs to react differently was good. Same with the revolving door on the 4th character slot in your party. It just had a busted leveling mechanic that was overly ambitious and had way too many moving parts.

I think it deserves a lot of credit for being extremely ambitious and forward thinking, even if a lot of things didn't work out.

And the story is insanely complex for a NES game. Wouldn't be matched again until VI.

I think the Series S makes more sense than the digital PS5, although both should come with at least twice the storage. Series S at least can store games on a regular HDD.

You can use external drives with the PS5 for everything but PS5-specific games.

And the digital PS5 has twice the usable storage of the Series S. So there's that.

Let's make a digital-only console with only 300 GB of usable storage, despite the fact that last gen titles averaged 50-100 GB. Then, let's give it a modern CPU but a GPU weaker than your last generation console (One X).

Then, let's make it so that the storage upgrade adds $220 to the price, making the Series S with 1.5 TB of storage actually more expensive than the Series X with 1 TB of storage.

It's just crazy.

2 days after that Jefferson and co said its absolutely constitutional to impeach someone after they leave office, took him to trial and convicted him.

Precedent is game , set and match

Not to mention that Congress voted for it to be constitutional prior to the trial. So even if it wasn't constitutional, it is now until the Supreme Court says otherwise.

FF6 deserves a remake on the scale of FF7.

That was a game clearly limited by the hardware it was designed for. It was basically a 32-bit RPG stuck on a 16-bit system.

It's not that I think final fantasy 6 is inherently better than Chrono Trigger, but the scope of the game's presentation was more grandiose and was held back considerably by the Super Nintendo.
