Mandate is when you are forced to do something.

"You can't smoke inside the resturant" is not a mandate
"You have to go to the resutrant and you must smoke inside it or the government will arrest you for not smoking inside it" is a mandate.

Your kids have to go to school. If you don't make them go to school the goverment will literally take them away from you and force them.

That's a mandate

"Resturants might not serve you unless you abide by x" is not a mandate.

Putting aside the "Realism" part of the debate. When you're playing a video game or watching a movie, especially a plot heavy one and suddenly some chick walks in with anime hair and 2 bits of covering on her nips and vagina held together by lace it just looks dumb. Particularly if she's meant to be like a military general or the daughter of a serious character.

I mean to me Alyx Vance and Heather Mason look better than Ivy or Catwoman or Lara Croft or Ryuko Matoi.

Batman's plans aren't nessiarily about combat. Thor is powerful, but he has character flaws that Batman can study and easily take advantage of. It's not about choreographing a fight to overpower Thor; Batman can manipulate Thors psychology.

I just imagined Batman being like "HEY! THOR! HEY THOR! Thor! Thor! Thor! You failed all your dead friends who are dead, they are dead because of you and Loki totally banged Natalie Portman! Nyahanyahnayah!" like a 12 year old

No but I did once get in trouble for complete bullshit.

A kid decided he didn't like me and attacked me. He just ran up out of no where one day and started punching me in the gut. He was tiny though so it hurt but didn't really do any damage. I kinda grabbed him and threw him to the floor, then he ran off crying.

Imagine like a Schnauzer jumping up at a Labrador to attack with its paws and then getting shoved away. It was like that.

Later he told a bunch of teachers that I kicked him in the balls and they believed HIM. Probably because he was small and I was bigger.

I didn't get suspended but they called my parents and I got some kind of written warning thing I had to take home and give to them.

It really pissed me off. Even my parents believed it (I guess because it came from the school) but they were like "Oh it must have been an accident."

Worst part is I was delibrately trying not to hurt him when I shoved him down. Not like I was super tough or anything, I was just bigger and didn't want to hurt the guy. If I had known he was going to make up bullshit and people would believe him, I would have smacked him around a few times for real.

This is not true.

I've known a lot of paranoid people and one thing they absolutely do is make up elaborate stories or theories about what other people are doing, even if it has nothing to do with them.

Look at the JFK conspiracy theories for a example. Not a one of them effects the people making up the story.

And it happens all the time with people who racist to other countries or people. "Those guys in X are doing Y to Z!" happens all the time often in huge amounts of detail.

Buffy's mind making up stories that happened to other people is absolutely plausible. Remember she's making up the stories that happen to her as well.

I'd see your point if she died in Season 7 and Angel continued but it's established Buffy is still alive while the last Season of Angel rolls on.

You talk about the doctors actions but that entire scene literally makes no coherent sense unless it is real
