My boss has forgotten more than i know. Straight up. Hes a pro. I came to him homeless and he gave me a job and got me out of my car and into what to me is luxury. All i had to do was work hard and learn and chill the fuck out. It would be insane for me to walk up to that man and demand an equal part in a business he risked everything for and built over decades. He carries all that shit on his back and works so hard its proly taking years off his life. I wouldnt trade with him if i could. Expecting companies to say "ok we made enough money, lets share the wealth" is unrealistic. Its in their nature to grow whenever possible and then they will pay their elite the profits and use the rest to preserve and expand. Just like its their nature to switch to automation whenever possible when wages rise. Take wal mart as an example. Theyre installing self checkout stations everywhere they possibly can. Then ship it back here for easy access to one of the most lucrative markets in human history, the United States. We have the ace in the hole in all these deals because everyone wants access to the American consumer. But there's nothing we need that we couldnt do ourselves with the right conditions. Look at corona, free trade is fucking us so bad we needed China for our medical supplies. Were dependent and free trade with us is the main reason for their incredible growth. We sacrificed the future so some elites could get richer now. And now China menaces the world with their wealth, any who think China will be a better hegemon is insane.
