Not all panhandlers are doing it for their addictions though, it can take time for someone to get cleared for food stamps here (Oregon), and a lot of the shelters here were at max capacity before COVID, and now the majority of them are closed off not letting in anybody new post-COVID. Shit is pretty rough right now for any hobo who got "locked out".

Incidentally, I wouldn't be surprised if there's been a boom on new cam gals out there due to the shutdowns and layoffs. Thots gotta eat too.

As for my situation, its been almost 3 years, I've pretty much accepted the fact that I'm going to grow old and die this way (almost there already, had my 37th birthday just a few days ago).

My situation does help to give me insight to the struggles of others though. You're not incapable of care yourself, the post I quoted says as much when you wished me hope, just let those positive emotions flow towards more people instead of getting angry at them. You know a lot of them are lonely or desperate, that doesn't warrant disgust or dismay my man.

Im not angry at the men or women who engage in the monetization of the human body, I simply pity them. Thats not what human connection is about. Reducing sexual desire to a monetary transaction is what makes me disgusted.

Im curious though, why do you think youll be in your current situation forever? Its not too late to make a major change in your life. Other people have done FAR more impossible things in life. Its amazing what people can do when theyre at the bottom, sometimes.

Ive been on food stamps myself in the past. Ive had my car repod for not being able to afford payments. Ive been jobless with large amounts of bills in the past. I get it. But that doesnt mean youll be in that situation forever.
