I only hear about them not having to pay taxes, or getting taxes refunded. I think it's possible they intially overpaid and were getting the extra back. Meanwhile the average person doesn't understand how taxes work and doesn't like paying it themselves so complaining about corporations and the wealthy people behind them getting around this can be persuasive.

This game and Breath of the Wild were the first games I bought after getting a Switch.

I think you break pots to find food. I didn't really understand what to do with the Fairies I found.

I played through the campaign and eventually got blocked on certain map squares. I think those squares required specific characters and I needed to level them up more. I just didn't feel like grinding for XP and moved on to another game.

Saying "will" isn't an opinion. If it's an opinion you'd use "could." Biden COULD do that. That's my opinion. Biden WILL do that is a matter of fact statement.

If I say "The White House will be swallowed by a sink hole next week" this can be evaluated as true or false. You can observe if this happens or does not happen. What fact checkers tend to do is look at the white house in a sink hole with some of it still sticking out so it wasn't entire swallowed, and it happened a day early so it was in the same week not the next week, so they conclude the statement was false.

If I say "I expect the White House will be swallowed by a sink hole next week" this can't be evaluated as true or false. Maybe a lie detector. Maybe observe if my actions are consistent with this expectation. But no one else can say with certainty I have or don't have that expectation. Likewise, I can have that expectation even if the event doesn't happen. So it can be an accurate statement but not provable.

The average person understands what rounding is. Complaining about Trump saying 75 million when there were only 74 million weakens the argument. Trump had enough faults of his own that there's no need to make them up. Bolstering the number with claims like this only serves to bury the more legitimate complaints that might be in that list. Further, people will be less inclined to take the list seriously on larger issues because they gave equal signifigance to something so silly.

When you pay attention to them they actually do reveal their own lies. I remember one local story about a woman arrested for a fight on a bus and the reporter talked about hate crime charges because the woman was yelling racial slurs. Then they showed a video of the attack. And it didn't match their usual agenda because the agressor was a black woman making racially motivated comments to a white woman. They buried the story rather quick after that.

This raises several questions.
Had the reporter not seen the video themself and was just reading a script?
Had the news editor not seen the video themself before approving their coverage of it?
Had they seen the video didn't care thinking that the audience won't notice?

I'm seeing a lot of claims that amount to:
"Trump said the new X was the biggest in history when actually the Roman Empire had the biggest X in history."
So the fact checkers are just realy pedantic about what was obviously meant as exaggerated boasting.

I think it's primarily a digital comic creation program. Someone may not be aware that Spider-Man skinned games are part of it, or they don't think that qualifies.

Never ascribe to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence.

Both are incompetent. They see something must be done. They are doing something. Therefore they must be getting something done.

The right aren't getting anything done. The officials know there is an issue. They appear to address it by holding hearings and such. They don't know how to actually solve it.

The left are also malicious. Not only is what they get done the wrong thing but the negative impact of their policies are exactly what they intend. They tell people it's a positive and refuse to accept when people tell them otherwise.

Getting banned is a lot of work. One thing that I disagree with is when the community's rules are inconsistently enforced. Part of that inconsistency is that I can't even get modded intentionally. Otherwise I'd try to keep it to things that are entirely innocuous to call the rules or their enforcement into question.

The people that entered the meeting hall didn't do it on behalf of Trump. They did it because they lost faith in the government. I've heard that representatives were objecting to the election results before they entered. These people lost faith that the objections would lead anywhere. If anything the past year of media coverage has demonstrated the facts don't matter. It's all about interpretation. Either he betrayed the constitution, or he believed he was protecting the constitution from traitors.

Unfortunately whether the action or the intent takes priority is applied unevenly and is determined by which individual it's being applied to rather than the circumstances in question.
