I'd bet that during the Sakurai Direct about Sephiroth, they'll announce Tifa as a Brawler Costume, Barret as a Gunner, and Zack as a Swordsman.

More proof that there should have been a Magic-using Mii class as well, so they could add Aerith to that (though as it stands now, and going by current trends, they would make her a Swordfighter).

Final Fantasy VII--the original--was released on the Switch, along with FF9, FF10, and FF10-2.

Additionally, Cloud has appeared in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, the Theaterhythm games, and Final Fantasy Explorers, which have released on Nintendo platforms.

Plus, if you're going to add a Final Fantasy character to the biggest crossover in gaming, you are logically going to start with Cloud, and now Sephiroth I guess.

F-ZERO is lucky it even has what it does now, considering the series has been dead for nearly 20 years. Captain Falcon himself had his moveset made up for him, so other F-ZERO reps would be in the same boat.

This is true, and Asians are becoming more outspoken nowadays.

People ITT seem to forget that Black people made a huge fuss whenever there were injustices thrown our way, and it resulted in racism against Black people being taken more seriously. But historically, Asian Americans were more about putting their heads down and not causing "trouble" (as in, not calling out White people for their racism against Asians) and simply working on despite the harassment.

It's one reason why they're seen as the "model minority".
