That fails to take into account the relative percentages of the population. Yes, by raw numbers more white people are killed. But when you consider that black people make up only about 13% of the population, the difference in the rate is staggering.

That said, people of all skin colors should be against police brutality, obviously. Its in all of our best interests to be against it.

And what percentage of black people are gang members vs white people? What percentage of black people commit violent crimes vs white people? The article outright says right from the start in some parts, and then names those parts as the number one crime city in America followed up by another one(idk where ny would currently rank) These are both cities that have huge black populations and gang issues of which black people are disproportionately members of. Of course those are going to throw off the numbers making it look like blacks are targeted more. But whites are still killed more then blacks when you take into account the whole country. Remember though that about 96% of police shootings each year are against armed individuals, so let's not pretend these are innocent people.

Two places that have a shitload of gang activity made up of mostly black gangs. No shit the police kill more blacks then whites there. Overall the police still kill more white people every year then black people. And of all the people killed by the police each year less then 4% are unarmed. Most people don't care if the police shoot gangbangers and criminals, regardless of what color their skin is.

I mean it is kind of true though, at least where I live. All the Popeyes are only in towns with majority black and hispanic population. What? What young person is listening to either of them? Lopez doesn't even make music anymore. And even when she did she never made good music. It was generic dime a dozen pop music, there was nothing special about it compared to anything else at the time. She has always been a D list celeb at best. The most famous thing Jennifer Lopez ever did was spread her legs for Ben Affleck. Thats how she became super famous.

Shakira I do like, but she doesn't even make English music anymore and she mostly tours South America. There's nothing wrong with that, but she isnt really relevant to the American music scene in 2020.

Metallica is still basically the standard to which all rock bands starting out strive to be like. I absolutely guarantee you there are more new bands covering Metallica when they start out then there are new singers covering Lopez or Shakira.
