Hell. putting out progressive policies and pushing the public conscious further left is more ambitious than anyone else on stage that's too afraid of pushback to tout good policy. Being an activist is by definition ambitious, and we very much need that.

Ambition is not at all a negative trait, it only has that connotation when used towards women.

The thing is that Biden winning means a hell of a lot more than Biden being in the oval office, right now you got Betsy Devos pushing transphobic policies into America's classrooms, Elaine Chao using the Treasury Department to grant political favours to McConnell and the theological stooge leading the fucking justice department, the whole Trump cabinet needs to be expunged immediately.

There is no both-sidesing with this complete dumpster fire of an administration top-to-bottom that are all independently terrible from Trump himself who just had to put them in charge through shear incompetence with out any thought (looking straight over at you Ben Carson, inexplicably the Secretary of HUD).

(and this is without at all getting into hundreds of lifetime judicial appointments)

My honest view on Kamala on the issue is a bit two-fold, in that it was impressive to finally hear someone actually show some understanding of the movement and not running away from it, but also for better or worse, it's a privilege she uniquely had to publicly say it given her former history in law enforcement shielding her from the kneejerk criticism of "omg see you're a cop hater opposing the rule of law, I'm not gonna listen to you!" which obviously can't stick to her as a former DA

I've mentioned it a number of times I felt it'd be repetitive to point to it again but yes, on The View early June just as calls for Defund were building into public consciousness and most politicians from Biden to Bernie were too nervous about the phrase as it was still viewed as complete political suicide, Kamala did indeed face questions about the movement by properly contextualizing it to be about resources better spent elsewhere

I don't consider Harris to be a genuine politician either (few are), but bending to public sentiment isn't the worst trait in the world in a field of old liberal ideologues like Rice. Demonstrably it has led her to one of the most progressive records in the senate, so even if I don't trust her to lead I'll take her as a vehicle for progress and she certainly does show a better grasp at handling certain issues like Defund the Police than most dems.

yeah there's no reason at all not to, there's no practical effect beyond screwing the player for mistakes

at least other gachas I've played like Opera Omnia just lock your equipment automatically after upgrading so that kind of accident can't really happen unless you go out of your way to unlock it inexplicably

I haven't really! If you missed it, what happened was I accidentally used my original Farah, at the time upgraded all the way to Level 90, as a material for my last event Farah. I mixed up which one I was ascending at the absolutely worst bloody moment and since then I've been Locking each memoria I ascend asap.

So my "second Farah" is actually just my last Event-Rewarded one that "starts out" at 1 ascension because I sacrificed the 90. Which means I've only actually won 3 spare Farahs from raids (to 70, 80, 90). I only need 4 spare Farahs to get back to 100 instead of a full fresh 6 Farahs.

(also SubDeity's exposure had nothing to do with lfaqs, he was a known entity on the Politics board, shared facebook credentials and so-on and people just remembered that there where I don't even maintain any logs... in fact I think the actual GameFAQs Archive feature on that board kept some of those details)

Was thinking to save up that 2.5k gem batch but after doing another Arena it somehow just nudged me to crack

Still got 6k on hand with half the Hard side-chapters and all the Very Hard side-chapters to go through... but that with the Estelle get I'm glad with this being the roll I start holding on

also grabbed 2 Kyle SRs, maxing out his Memoria to 90 to join Event Reid in my 90-Wind-Sword gang... really makes me want to farm more Reids off the event top off my spare (1/5 ascensions)... and hell I still love to dream about getting more Farahs to cover my earlier accident
