It was a solid SW experience. As someone who has grown out of the series it was nice to see a decent story in the universe, combat was enjoyable and EA has done some qol additions like ng+.

As your first time, I wouldnt think too much of it. New players get into a mindset where they get really attached to a character, while thats fine, you do need to realize that youre gonna make more characters, and player character death isnt really a finality anyway (DM dependent).

My best advice is to learn the game and have fun with your first character. Make the choices you want to make, and if they turn out not great, well thats the fun of the game. Trust me, some of the better moments of DnD happen when bad dice rolls happen. Nat 1s make for some fun moments.
