You probably aren't too familiar with court cases involving deadly weapon assault charges then. All manner of items have been found to be deadly weapons even people's own hands in some cases. We're discussing what can qualify in a court of law. If you're using something that has an imminent threat of death or great bodily harm then it can legally qualify as a deadly weapon. I feel like a full can could potentially qualify but it probably also depends on how you use it. If he hit him with the bottom or top of the can then it could be way more dangerous but he didn't

Sure, if you lock everyone in their houses for a short period of time cases will be reduced. Thats been seen here as well. And then when you're forced to let everyone out of their house again since life has to go on to some degree, it inevitably goes back up. There are examples of countries that have come out the other end doing better without locking down like Sweden while places like the UK are struggling. And CA with all its lockdowns are shitting the bed while FL is doing better with far less restrictions

Yes, but like zeus said, it's mostly because the average person has no idea how our government works at all. Most people probably couldn't even tell you what any of the bill of rights are outside of the 1st and 2nd amendments, much less, understand any of the intricacies of our political systems

Regardless of what you think about this set of pardons, this is overkill. Some adjustments to the system could be made but the idea behind pardons is that they exist to provide a counterbalance to the shortcomings of the judiciary
