There's a ton of dialogue and I got a bit tired of the loop of questions that you ask every citizen when you're trying to find out all of their info, which can (potentially) lead to good chunks of experience, unique weapons and other items. Story and characters are decent enough and I think they did a pretty good job creating different relationships among the citizens that you can learn about and affect, if you wish. Combat isn't it's strongest feature but good enough to get the game's point across. --- |

Seems unbalanced when you consider the library of games Microsoft just acquired, but those mobile games make stupid money. --- |

| Quorthon109 09/14/20 1:26:00 PM #1 | It's a documentary about NXIVM, the self-help organization that actually ended up being a recruitment tool for a sex cult. It follows several former members intro and exit from it. Last night was the 4th episode and it was kinda jumbled as it switched between a few different people's stories, but the standout scene was footage of Allison Mack's first in-person meeting with Keith Raniere in 2006. It's really heartbreaking to watch while knowing the awful things she ends up doing. She definitely wasn't in a good place and her heart was on her sleeve from the start, and you can just see her getting hooked. Been a pretty interesting watch, though. The one guy Mark who was in the organization for a long time is also a filmmaker, so there's a lot of high quality video (some from 15+ years ago, which can make the timeline confusing sometimes) of NXIVM meetings and interviews as well as the aftermath when he left and started recording everything for his own safety. It definitely answers the question of "How could people consent to this?" when you see just how long the manipulation lasts and how one of their key tenets is to not listen to your own fear and doubt. --- |
