Cops don't show up half the time when I call them now. Not sure how good the system would work if severely understaffed regardless of the competence of the individual police.

I really don't think you speak for "everyone" buddy. A lot of people simply want cops gone.

I think cops should only show up if there is a need for them to become physical. If there is no need to physically arrest anybody, then there is no reason for them to come.

I think most cops are used as debt collectors for the state. Blindly upholding the laws and issuing tickets (that naturally pray on the poor...aka minorities) for the purpose of meeting quotas. They forget their purpose, and when confronted with real danger or an actual need to protect the community they shell up like a deer in the headlights.

They are so use to being conditioned to harass the community and to view it as the enemy, that they have no clue how to behave when it comes time to be an actual hero and protect it. So I would like to see officers behave like a Batman, and ignore street cleaning and jay walking violations and just respond to calls where they'll be a high chance that they'll have to physically put hands on someone.

That's my opinion.

It's not discrimination if requirements are put in place to begin with. Well the not allowing women part is discrimination no matter how you slice it, but they'd have to pass requirements as well.

I think what you mean to say is better filtering and training needs to be put in place.

That's common sense dude. Cop is scared for his life, so he shoots.

That's pretty much it.

The issue is that the cops should NOT be scared for their lives. If they weren't such cowards, then they wouldn't be so afraid.

There are indeed racist cops, and they are bad police officers. But the vast majority of police are NOT racist, but they are still BAD cops. A cowardly cop is incapable of doing his job, because he's incapable of putting his life on the line to serve and protect the community he's sworn to protect.

Therefore, all cowardly cops are bad cops. All fat cops are bad cops. All physically weak cops are bad cops...and unfortunately that means that most women officers are also bad cops.

80% of the police force are bad cops, because they are cowardly. When you add in the racist cops, or those with any prejudice bias at all, the. 85-90% of all cops are bad cops.

However, it's near impossible to identify which ones are racist until they do something racist. So in the meantime let's get rid of the 80% who can't pass an elite fitness test, and replace them.

Let's cut the police force in half, so that cops aren't harassing citizens for every little thing, and just have a bunch of physically capable cops out their using their skills only when needed.

Not really. If cops know what they are doing, then the police force could and would be cut in half.

For example, if they were to enforce such a program tommorow, 80% of all cops would fail. Therefore, they would be fired.

New cops would need to be hired, but because the physical requirements to become a cop would be so much stricter not that many applicants would qualify.

When all is said and done, the police force would be cut in half.

They need to be firing any of them that have a clear bias against any of our protected groups. We shouldn't have to worry about running into someone who believes black people are animals to put down when they post it up on their public social media accounts.

That goes without saying. But the vast majority of shootings aren't done because the cop is racist, they are done because the cop is a coward. Usually they are cowards because they are physically incompetent. So like, let's fix this shit at it's source.

If a woman is capable of handling the same physical standards that should exist for the men, then I see no problem. Otherwise, I agree, even if you are a weirdo.

I mean, neither would I. I'm sure they do exist, but it's a rarity. Women would comprise of less than 2% of the "beat cops" for sure.

Requirements to be a cop:
6'7"+
245 lbs of muscle
Runs a 4 minute mile
400 lb bench 600 lb squat
Black belt equivalent in martial art of choice

Not to that extreme. But something like 5'8, no more than 25% bodyfat. Based on their height and weight and age they must be able to lift the minimum amount to qualify for above average strength...there is actually a science to this, you learn the chart in every basic scholastic systematics class.

Officers must attend monthly MMA seminars and bimonthly Jiu-Jitsu seminars and pass a quarterly physical...so 4 a year.

It's actually not that hard.

The cops who were behind The killing of Jacob Blake were cowards due to their physical incompetence. Had they had some actual wrestling or Jijitsu training they could have very EASILY taken down Blake when his back was turned and restrained him.

But, they are such pathetic physical specimens they literally had no means of which to defend themselves when scared other than by pulling the trigger.

Stop hiring simpy people to be cops. Stop hiring women to be BEAT cops. START physically discriminating in the hiring process of police officers.

They couldn't win the primary, but they were the only ones who could beat Trump.

The guy who is currently polling way higher than Trump? No chance.

I believe many of the people who voted for Bernie & Yang WONT vote at all come the actual election. Meanwhile all the people who voted for Biden, would have voted for any liberal regardless of who it was. My theory, anyhow.

I'd have preferred Yang or Sanders, but from what I recall Biden was leading the polls consistently.

I don't think your average non tech-savvy conservative from middle american bothers in any poll other than the official vote. Meanwhile, I'm pretty certain most tech-savvy liberals drool at the chance to vote in a poll that really count for anything other than "cyber street cred."

I currently live in San Francisco - they love their polls.

I'm from Phoenix - they have no idea what a poll is.

Both Yang & Bernie took away republican votes while capturing 98% of the liberal votes. They also inspired young people to vote, as well as older people who have never bothered before. Biden doesn't steal away any republican votes. Biden doesn't inspire young people or non-voters to make it out to polls. Biden doesn't even get the women vote like Hillary did, or even the minority vote like Obama did.

This is a straight "Generic Liberal Politician" vs Trump.

Trump's supporters are fanatical. They will vote. A hurricane won't be able to keep them from voting. It's not the same for Biden...if a MCU film happens to release the same days as the polls, a good chunk of the Generation Z & Millenial liberals will just prioritize that instead.

I'm starting to believe it's all rigged. Liberals don't actually want change. They just want power. The one thing the "Right" and the "Left" have in common is that they are both privileged one percenters that look down on the poor. If the 1% is comprised of .5% liberals & .5% conservatives - then all the election does is determine which .5% gets a little bit richer.

America needs to change. I liked Yang's slogan: "Not Right. Not Left. Just Forward."

I think I now realize that neither party will allow the poor to prosper, or for american citizens to be given an equal chance in the pursuit of happyness. I think perhaps the 99% needs to rise up and riot against both sides...violently if needed to make this change. Prove me wrong?

I think people vastly underestimate how many 2016 voters cast "screw it" votes for Trump to test an unknown commodity/anti-vote the "meatheads in Congress"/etc.

Just following procedure.

This is the problem with police. They are mindless robots devoid of morality and common sense. They just "do it by the book" and that suddenly takes all the blame away from them. If everything is always done by the book, and procedure is followed to a tee then there is no reason for the police to not eventually be replaced by doordash robots.

I think all Trump supporters will vote for Trump. I think that not all anti-trump voters will vote for Biden.

They really should have gone w/ Bernie or Yang. Biden doesn't inspire young people to get out and vote.
