Don't vote for anyone else except Biden either

True. Don't vote for anyone else except Biden. You will not be sending a message to the Democratic Party by writing in Yang or Bernie. The DNC doesn't care about you. If you vote third party, your vote is not going to go into a giant thermometer that has a line on it that says if such and such amount of votes are accumulated then there will be three real choices in 2024. Don't kid yourself. You have Biden or Trump. Quit putting so much emphasis on the voting. Politics is a 24/7 game. It's about culture and conversation and information and movements. You have to play the game all the time if you want change to happen.

I mean yeah we do. People don't realize how good they have it

People overestimate how good people have it. They take a look around and say, "We have smartphones, tons of convenience via tinder, and grubhub, and you name it." and think things are amazing. There is some truth to that, but we fail to measure abstractions like meaning and self-purpose. There's a reason why so many people commit suicide nowadays. I think part of that reason is their exposure to so many people. They're demotivated when they see so much greatness in all the people around them (thanks to the Internet). Also the wealthy class is taking a lot of opportunity away from people.

Who is your favorite progressive news personality?

Who do you like most and why? I usually listen to Kyle and Pakman the most. I like Jimmy Dore. He seems very honest but possibly more dangerous because he says the democrats and republicans are basically the same and that it's all theater. Like if his voice had more reach then there would be more third party voters.I think there is a lot of truth here. Pakman is nice. Seems very knowledgeable but I would say he seems the least progressive. He seems to be removed from the importance of the issues. He seems more invested in getting democratic leadership than caring about the actual issues like legalizing pot, helping poor people, etc. There's less discussion about the importance of the issues, and more discussion about the political leaders. I only watch his YouTube though.

I remember in 2016 people were fear mongering president Trump couldn't be trusted with the Nuclear codes or he would cause WWIII. Others said he was literally Hitler or a Nazi sympathizer. None of these delusions came to pass. Then people said he was incompetent and wouldn't come through with his promises. It's been shown that he has been competent now so now they just simply say they just don't like him.

Please, Mr. president, if you out there reading comments on Gamefaqs please hear me - I'm sick and tired of winning. Please let us have at least one loss. It's no longer exciting to win.

COVID actually exposed how incompetent he is. Besides, it's nothing worth celebrating over if the country doesn't collapse. That should be THE most anticipated achievement. It's the lowest bar. The president should be expected to have some vision for change and the betterment of human well-being.

Think of how much your life has changed from his presidential actions

I really don't think it's about how much my life has changed. I've seen no noticeable change. That's the problem. It's not like he's okay if things don't get too worse for me. It's still bad because there is still a growing trend toward authoritarianism and American leadership has no mind for progress toward bettering the average human's well-being. So in other words, the leadership is doing the bare minimum for the public such that they're struggling to wade with their mouth barely above water. Things are SO bad that our leadership can't allow them to get worse or things would fall apart. So I shouldn't expect things to get worse so that I can somehow justify my hate for Trump.

I describe myself as a leftist because I like the progressive policies like legalizing drugs, socializing daycare, medicare for all, etc. but I don't really think the government should handle the means of production necessarily. I still think we should have capitalism, just less of it / wealth redistribution.

Recently there have been two instances where I've seen someone use the word "liberal" online in a way that suggests that "leftist" is more to the left than liberal. I would usually say liberal to mean leftist or democrat in a general way. Now I lean toward saying "leftist" a lot more to describe progressives, and that's because it's starting to be more obvious to centrists (democrats) that they are actually centrist and not all that leftist. But still using "liberal" to describe centrists seems new to me.

You could become a nurse. I don't think my wife has ever left a job where she didn't get a new one the next day.

Suggesting someone get into a line of work because it's easy to get a job is bad advice and you should stop. Being a nurse isn't easy. Some confused people without purpose might actually attempt that and find themselves in a worse position than when they started, hating their job a few years later. People should attempt to do what they want. If they don't know what they want then tbh I have no advice for that.

You know how you watch someone really good at something and it makes you wanna quit? Well, I would say that feeling is bullshit and you should ignore it except when it comes to collecting things. There will always be someone who has a bigger collection. And it's not a skill. A collection is just negative money. Oh well. Do what you like.

Contrast between right and wrong.

But I would say it's nice that they have their own board. Idk what happened here in 2016 but there were way more bots or Russians or something back then. Either they were all real users and that board has taken them away from CE or they were indeed Russians/bots.

No, your logic is flawed. Liking music isn't immoral. There's nothing wrong with agreeing with a bad person on something that has nothing to do with why they're a bad person.
