If i could literally just have a house with a big garage I can have a shop in and enough room for a skatepark in the yard and be able to pay it off and have 25k a year to spend left over or from investments (cause no rent or mortgage only property tax) i would be living the fucking dream. 1 million and I could have actual freedom. I dknt even need to travel or buy anything expensive excepts bikes and the tools and shit for my shop.

Just two bedrooms... one for sleep on with some weights, a bag, and the entire walls turned into a giant super walter playground.

I literally can't even fathom how great thatd be. So yeah money would make me happy.

Dude no wonder. In a person with lower tolerance 100mg is gonna be intense. Canada restricts the per dose limit to 10mg per serving in legal shops (100mg on the res cause they don't fuck with federal stupidity). 1000mg is absurd.

I did 750mg once and I just stared at my Xbox homescreen and listened to tunes for 2 hours and that was back in the day when I smoked a ton.

When I worked at walmart as a teen I was hot knifing hash one time and I was drunk and burned a perfect imprint of a butter knife into my lip. Even the little serrations on the end.

Fucking covid man. Lol. Sounds like you had a great gig going before all this shit.

I had the whole summer off and was still getting 2k a month. When I lost that job I didn't like it but looking back from where I am now it worked out great. And besides the lack of tourist girls it was a great fucking summer.

The downside of my job is it can sometimes be monotonous and the fact outlets like ikea and shit bring prices down so much that they pay is pretty meh.

I make less now than I have in ages. But also I'm inside doing something that involves craftsmanship and its a tiny company owned by a father and son who are legitimately the best bosses i ever had.

If i won 400k tomorrow I'd buy a house with a big garage I could use as a shop then just save till I had all my equipment and tools and id work for myself forever from then on. That would be the ultimate goal really.

I mean i guess I had that option as a carpenter / handy man but I really grew to hate that whole job over the years plus the margins on your estimates and the boom or bust nature would just be doing something I hated anyways and being stressed af on top of it.

If i had the space I'd legit try to start a side business doing custom cat trees. I've made a few out of other peoples garages and sold em for... eh I dunno exactly. I did 3 and one for my friend I got walter from and counting the discount on walter well over a grand anyways. But that was all using carpet and wood I got from work too.

Its fuckin fun building someone's idea of a cat playground too. I came up with the idea of carpeting sauna tubes for someone who wanted tunnels and it worked great. Those sauna tunes were the only money I put into them and they were all pretty fucking huge.

Sadly I am an asshole and sold the one that was gonna be walters so hes just got a store bought tree. One day though.

From my experience: going from 20K to 130K a year in a matter of 3 years made a huge difference in my demeanor... and in a positive way. I can agree that even more than that isn't going to do much for most, but I'm not like most and am aiming for $300 - $400K a year.

I'm merely okay. I dont make much at my new job but I like it a lot more than all previous jobs since the radio days... but compared to having zero cushion and no spending money (a life ive experienced a fair bit of over the years) the difference is night and day.

I've been in a situation before for a long time where every cent mattered and I still came up short fairly often. The stress of that and the inability to afford anything at all in your free time makes it goddamnes hard to be happy to say the least.

I've also made 13 grand a month for about a year and the ability to effortlessly save more than I make and still do whatever the fuck I felt like was glorious.

I mean its the human condition though. Your base line stops seeming incredible and just starts to become bare minimum somehow. It didnt happen to me when I had tons of money but I can see how it does.

Even now having a 3 month cushion financially and having cash for beers and whatever I often have to take a step back and think about what being truly broke wise like to really appreciat it the way I should.

If you're in a position where you have to choose between eating Ramen for weeks on end or having your power cut off money would make a whole fuck load of difference. Hard to be happy if youre hungry.

I think he was legitimately high for like 8 hours. He usually sleeps in my bed when I crash out but yesterday he'd come lay down, freak out at nothing, then run away for an hour. I always know when he comes in cause he's gotta walk up and down me a few times before he goes to sleep. Lol.

God i wish i could work from home. Couldn't do your job though. People's stupidity would drive me nuts. Also yes birds are kinda horrible. I've never had birds but I have friends with a lot of different birds and christ they are mean and loud and contrary as fuck.
