Hard disagree there. SCOTUS is supposed to be completely unbiased going with the word of the law alone. An even split of Republicans and Democrats with a few, odd numbered independents is the correct way to go.

Why would we need an even split of ideologies if the justices are supposed to be unbiased? Since it's clear that people cannot be unbiased, we need to eliminate lifetime appointments.

The conservatives now have a majority in the Supreme Court for decades. It's well known that they think gay people marrying is somehow a affront to freedom of religion. And the repealing Roe v Wade desire finally has a real chance to happen. It's a dark day for anyone that isn't a straight male.

I think the goal of proving "it wasn't that bad" is foolhardy at best. Proving it wasn't as bad as was claimed still doesn't mean the situation was ideal for the parties involved.

For example, while losing your hand isn't as bad as an arm, losing a hand still definitely is not good.

Even if the famous 6 million number was fake and it was even half of that claim, 3 million people dying still isn't good either.

I think it's just a thing the alt-right do to normalize something that they secretly look up/long for.

Yeah I'm not entirely sure what a million less deaths would change about any of the Holocaust or the Third Reich in general.
