in fact, in his hey day, he wasn't even THE most popular one. He used to be overshadowed by Captain Marvel (now called Shazam). So much that DC actually bought out Captain Marvel's company just so they could own the character and then bury him for decades so Superman could have no competition.

I liked the show in the 90's. havent' seen it since. you kinda make a point though. I never really thought about it but you might be right. I think Daria was a unique product of the 90's when people wanted to act like assholes.

I've only been to Hawaii 3 times. each time was a different island

when I was 10 I went to Oahu
when I was like 20 I think, I went to the Big Island (I liked this one best)
and when I was around 30, I went to Kauai

that was almost 10 years ago. don't know when or if I will go back again. but if I could, I'd return to the Big Island. I am not sure exactly why but I enjoyed it the most. maybe cause it's so quiet there.

Things changed more during the later generations. I think today's young people won't be as out of touch when they are old. We rolled with thr punches and grew up with a changing world and kept changing with it. Boomers are stuck in their ways cause they grew up in a static world that didn't change much until decades after they became adults
