What the fuck? Neither. In College, I have to get a C+ or better in all of my classes to pass, which is like a 78.

In Canada that's a B+.

Also, a lot of schooling is based on memorization and regurgitation. Doesn't test your intelligence. Most people forget what they study the day after they write their exams. The lower the pass rate the better

First, no one is brainwashed, dude. People in the military aren't much different than anyone else.

Second, your rights aren't taken away. You aren't a slave. But you are obliged to moderate your behavior, especially when in uniform. Because you are obliged a certain respect and adherence for the chain of command, which includes the President. Because you represent more than yourself when you are in uniform.

Hell, to think of it a simpler way, how many careers do you think would consider screaming "fuck <your boss's boss's boss's boss's boss here>" in public, aggressively harassing civilians on the side of the road, while wearing your employer's uniform, etc to be acceptable behavior?

Her being investigated is for her job then? If so then I misunderstood and apologize. I was under the impression she was being investigated to be charged with something.

As it has been stated several times, when you're in the military, you are obliged to set aside some of your freedoms for the sake of order and discipline.

Especially when you're actually in the uniform. Her behavior is unacceptable because she isn't representing just herself, but the entire Navy.
