Do you both have problems with compartmentalization?

Compartmentalization is just video game magic.

In real life you dont get to pick and choose reality.

After every multi-player match, theres a mandatory therapy segment where a medical professional analyzes how youve been affected and decides whether youre fit to go back into action. >_>

We need more micro-management. Individual bullet clips!

Realistic bullet damage! It was only a shot in the leg? Too bad! It knicked an artery, youre dead!

Respawn? There is no respawning in real life! Get that video game magic out of here. Trade in your game and never play it again, youve only got one life to live and you wasted yours!

They should have just, A) kept Necron as Hades like was their original idea, and B) flesh out his arrival a bit more, either through a mini-dungeon or some other thing.

Even without any prior build-up, it probably wouldnt have been so bad if the game made the player feel a natural connection between the actions of the characters and how they would result in the appearance of the final boss.

oh shit, all this genocide caught the attention of the god of the underworld! isnt the worst end-game twist, imo. >_>

Nibelheim Sephiroth felt like a pretty vanilla elite soldier archetype. Serious, pragmatic, but relatively approachable. not above levity and indulging his juniors.

But pre-villain Sephiroth doesnt really need to be anything more than that. Him learning about his special heritage and going postal is the the whole point

Like when you watch Falling Down with Michael Douglas, the finer details of his characterization before he steps out of that car arent deeply important. Its after he snaps and decides hes fucking had it that he becomes a character we want to watch.

To be fair, she mentions at the beginning of the game that she changed recently, about the time she met Kuja, iirc.

Her depression could just as easily be from the compounded situation of witnessing her adoptive mom be lost to madness and then die before she any chance at redemption, or at least closure.

What's the largest successful comic book store chain?

i have no idea.

in Delaware theres Captain Blue Hen in Newark, Comicsmania in Bear, and some other one way up past Wilmington next to Newport or Claymont or thereabouts.

I remember seeing a few when I was in Maryland, and at least one when I was in NYC.

Its certainly not a thriving industry, but it exists. Against everything common sense should dictate, it still exists. >_>

though to be fair, these stores actually host regular events. Comicsmania doubles as an MtG outlet. And the one up north has reading groups and courts the hipster nerd crowd.

if physical game stores are going to survive they need to find a way to integrate themselves into the local community and culture. Of course, thats not a guarantee.

For a year or two there was this really good store off 40 right past the Maryland line called Icons, but he had to close shop.

Is there going to be demand though? We don't have digital appliances or furniture so those stores have to stay. Only thing they would have left is selling consoles and accessories.

Comic book stores have somehow defied nature and God and stayed alive into the 21st Century, where people still pay 4 dollars for 16 pages of content that doesnt even tell a complete story.

If they can make it, Im sure physical game stores will exist in some form for quite some time.

I get that this is like, their first cgi movie. But its a really rocky start.

Vizena told KPLC that he hadn't been aware of the language contained in the cemetery's sales contracts, which date back to the 1950s and included the phrase "the right of burial of the remains of white human beings." The issue hadn't come up before, he said.

So this whole situation is awful, but I find this part of the story morbidly amusing, if true. The idea that people selling you something dont even read their own contracts. >_>

Its unfortunate that in the past 80 years the only person who actually read the contract was a racist bitch, rather than someone who could have brought it up and corrected the issue before something like this happened.

Also i died to the rival fight outside Ilex Forest lmao.

Of course one thing I didnt know is that the Old Rod can catch more than Magikarp, and that Tentacool, Goldeen, and Krabby are all available before you hit Azalea. Couple this with the copious grass options, and Growlithe right outside Violet City (mind fucking blown I honestly had no idea he was out there all these years) theres a really healthy selection of Pokmon to mess around with.

https://allnurses.com/whats-your-best-nursing-ghost-t79490/

The best I have heard is from a nurse who said that one night she was floated to oncology at the hospital she used to work at. She was given a patient who was passing away and had been unconscious for several days. At one point during the night the nurse went into the room and the patient was at the top of the bed and looked at her and said, "don't let them take me!", the nurse was freaked out and asked her who was going to take her and she said that black thing up there and pointed up in the air. This patient died within minutes.
