Hey look - I don't blindly trust health authorities or health statistics which I have first hand knowledge of how some of these things are done. I don't see what the problem was it wasn't calling covid a hoax or not dangerous it was just showing how some of the statistics can be misleading. I think we should be allowed to post dissenting opinions especially if it's coming from people working in health care.

I mean we dont know explicitly, but given that the trading volume for the stock went up over twenty fold the day before the deal was announced, I think its more than fair to speculate.

Yeah. I thought people here were referencing the fact that the stock tumbled after publicly announced information went out as 'insider trading'. I didn't read what the investigation was about when I posted first. They done goofed but not surprising for a company like kodak.

Just because not all students will follow regulations for masks does not mean you don't try at all.

If 50% wear them, that is better than 0%. Teachers cannot even enforce it in their own classrooms if they have immunocompromised people in their classrooms. My brother is immunocompromised due to cancer treatment. This lack of a plan basically now doesn't allow his three kids to go to school. This is the reality in all classrooms across the province. Transmission in the province has INCREASED this past month, not decreased. The province is acting like we are doing a wonderful job when we, per capita, had the worst week in Canada last week.

I Think immunocompromised people should be given an exception and not go in. Even when I was in high school my friend got mono or something, he was out an entire school year and they let him do it all at home this was back in 2004 or 2005. I think they need to get intelligent about how they do the back to school thing like any kid with symptoms gets sent home immediately and try not to get them to come in the first place. Distance the teachers from the students. Things like that. You can't stop teenagers and school aged kids from interacting with each other it's not going to happen. They aren't going to keep masks on all day either.

When I was in university looking for a co-op placement a lot. And do I mean a lot. It must've been like 20 or so before I got one. For full time I got my first job after 2 interviews and my second job which I'm at now after 2 interviews.

Manitoba had one active case 3 weeks ago. They have almost a hundred now.

Interesting. But there comes a point when you get the cases down to a certain level that you have to start reopening things. It's either that or keep it closed forever.

Keeping masks on school aged children all day and keeping teenagers distanced all day is a fairy tale doesn't matter how you spin it. They should make sure the teacher is distanced from the students.
