you can play shadow tactics very slowly and methodically, basically like a turn based strategy that you can reload at any time. you can pause, queue up actions, and execute them one by one

it's more like a puzzle than anything else. you essentially have no time limit (unless you fuck up and try to go guns blazing)

ARR's raid is abandoned and I dont think it can appear in roulette,

it's more that in ARR there was only one raid difficulty and it was equivalent to savage difficulty in later expansions, which is too hard to just have in roulettes

jean+venti was apparently some kind of chinese meta double ameno team that en didn't really use until recently

i dunno the specifics of how well it stacks up vs other teams, but you could probably make something funny work with it. main downside i see is that you probably don't wanna run both of them on the same team in abyss because they are so incredibly valuable there

don't forget it's also buffing your secondary electro dps' damage too

if you're not using a second char of same element, or are using someone who can't consistently deal as much damage with low usage times as fischl like beidou, its value does get diminished

I have yet to legit use the VV set. I know it's lauded widely, but I don't have Venti. I have a low-level Sucrose, but my only real Anemo option right now is the MC.

if you don't have venti or jean, i probably wouldn't use anemo support for most content either, but it is REALLY good for bossing; the resistance reduction usually ends up increasing your final damage by somewhere around 25% multiplicative on everything else. pop it right before your main dps goes ham and you'll definitely get your team slot's worth of damage out of it

though it's not good in every boss fight, the enemies that are immune to it due to innate element forcing a swirl of their immunity can just have reactions spammed on them anyways (spamming fire vs electro hypostasis to force overloads etc)

venti has spoiled me though because he deals more damage than almost anyone else even without the set so it's a no brainer

no anemo set resistance down though, which is such a gigantic damage boost that not having anything comparable is the main reason why geo sucks offensively

giving up on the fantastic goblet mainstats (physical/elemental damage) is also pretty bad, though, cuz that stat is otherwise really rare (you'll probably only find it on set effects, character constellations/talents, or rarely on weapons)

just to confirm, you know that when you have converted elemental regular attacks, you aren't taking advantage of superconduct because you're no longer doing physical damage, right

in that setup, you will probably never be using physical attacks because both chong and keqing have very high uptime on their E conversions

there isn't even cryo or hydro sets in the game yet, they really are just afterthoughts for now

since there'll be at least a cryo set confirmed for dragonspine's patch (don't remember if there's one for hydro), i'm guessing the next spiral abyss floors will have them though

"hard" mode versions for ARR means level 50 versions of content you do while levelling up; primal trials are usually unlocked in the waking sands somewhere, and hard mode dungeons are all over the place. look for any quests with blue markers; tamtara HM is from a quest in uldah's steps of nald. you have to have completed 2.0 story and seen ARR's credits

hard mode trials are just amped up versions of the story versions, but you can pretty much consider hard mode dungeons to be entirely different dungeons with a similar setting. after ARR there's only two versions of each fight instead of 3 though

gearing will also become a lot easier after you hit 50, by the way

you start getting a currency exchangeable for gear that outpaces everything at each previous level cap (50/60/70), primarily for doing roulettes or clearing content for the first time

I'd agree you shouldn't do it on your main class, but if you ever try another class, it's definitely worthwhile

all of the roulettes (except for guildhest roulette) are designed to be pretty high rewards in exchange for ensuring there's no unreasonable queue times for content in the game for other players

i think one of the world first T5 clears (very first raid tier in ARR) had a sch that used controller
