What was the issue?

Power steering return hose blew out.
New part alone is $400, then labor. They also did my serpentine belt and pulleys because of how the fluid sprayed.
Full engine bay clean.
Fluids flush and refill.

I was so mad, the hose blew while it idled when I remote started it

I had an $800 car repair bill 3 days before Christmas. (Plus $100 tow)
A week before that I took a massive chip to my windshield (a 6 inch circle).
Was the first year of my son's life I didn't see him on Christmas.
My aging mom was crushed to not see me for Christmas.

Eivor is Odin reincarnated, however his reincarnation didn't go as planned like the other gods did, so he is now a woman.
Eivor is canonically female, but the visions are of Odin and his "spirit" which was originally male.

Grookey gives you the best early game coverage, as well he stays strong.
Sobble is easily the weakest.
Scorbunny is hello strong late game, but struggles against some of the early gyms.

Honestly though, pick whoever. The game isn't too tough and the Wild Area means you'll have hefty type coverage options before the first gym even.

It's funny, cause you're lifting up a game that some others can't get into while also admitting you can't get into a game that so many others loved that it got GOTY.

I'd say you not getting into Sekiro is more of an offense than us not getting into DMC5

Coincidentally tho, DMC5 shows up on the 31st for me to give it another try. There's the chance that when I rented it, I just wasn't in the mood for any game.

I tried and played quite a bit of Sekiro.
I'm not bashing it, just saying I believe DMC 5 is better.
A lot of my gripes with Sekiro are the lacking customization (which I got used to build variety in From games) and my dislike of the parry focused combat. That combined with a setting that isn't quite my favorite (Japan is cool, I liked Ghost of Tsushima well enough and used to love Ninja Gaiden.

It is by no means a bad game, and I don't fault anyone for liking it more than DMC 5.
I just believe DMC 5 is better overall.

I hope you enjoy DMC5, it starts off pretty slow but once you start unlocking upgrades it really picks up.

They do a pretty good job at explaining some of the why.
Honestly it just felt like natural aging and progression to me.

Yes, even better than Sekiro (which I admittedly couldn't get into, just wasn't my style).
Comparing it to Nier, Sekiro, Darksiders 3 (would have been goty 2019 for me if not for dmc 5), Nioh 2 (again not my style, but I enjoyed what I played), and others.

The music is incomparable for what it does.
The combo system flows smooth as hell (even if it pushes you towards aerials which I hate).
The character design is fantastic.
Level design is simple and to the point.

My only complaint is that there was no option in NG+ modes to select different characters for each level.

I get anywhere from 2-7 a day, sometimes while I'm sleeping. Sometimes I can't walk for a while after.
I use a 1-10 rating system now a days. Anything under a 7 I can mostly ignore.

I don't see why this is something to want. It's pretty gross behavior (and I engage in it myself).
I understand wanting the feeling of comraderie and being "in" with a group. A lot of times all you need is a couple good inside jokes, and some mutual interest to bond over.
Be yourself, and friends will come. How you talk doesn't make you any more or less of a "guy". Just be a good dude.

How do insurance companies recoup losses when its a scam to begin with?

Most vehicles that go to auction are write offs. They consider it a "loss" when they pay out a vehicle, so they auction them off.
Say your car is worth $8,000 and they pay you out $6800. They'll then auction the vehicle for anywhere from $100 to 4000 depending on damages.

I don't work for the insurance companies, they're more like clients.

I work at an auction yard. We clean up, photo, and do a report on vehicles after an insurance claim has been filed.
We sometimes do the insurance appraisal as well, before the cars go up for auction so Insurance can recoup some losses.

Absolutely.
Bare minimum you should receive a raise to keep up with inflation. Beyond that should be merit based.

Personally I'm worth at least $1.50 more per hour than I was this time last year. Learned so much, and taken on so much more responsibility.
